Care of Magical Creatures - Lesson Three (All Years)

With the last lesson of the year here, Daniel could not have been happier. Paperwork was coming out of his ears after the attacks on the schools, and he had missed so many evenings with his children, with Naomira, that he was ready to just pack the whole lot in and go home to be with them.

Of course, he could not do this. This would mean abandoning the school, the children here, and he simply could not do that to them after everything they'd gone through. Instead, Daniel had set up a lesson that would, hopefully, pick up the spirits of the students before they went home for the summer.

So, today, Daniel had set up a small gathering just inside the tree line of the Forbidden Forest, easy for the class to find without wandering too far in to the treeline. In the small clearing, on the furthest side were the animals that made up today's lesson. Hippogriffs. Daniel knew that many of the students had likely never seen these beasts, they were beautiful, majestic, and everyone needed to meet one in their life time.

Three of the creatures stood behind Daniel, who was stood at the ready with his wand in his hand. Precautionary, was all. Because he did not trust the Ministry to keep his school safe.

Everyone had been on edge since the attack, and Arthur wasn't really sure how to deal with that. The obvious tightening of security had taken place, meaning (not him, but others) could not saunter around the castle as they felt like it. This was an obvious move, but cracks would begin to form - of which Arthur was keeping an eye out for. Not because he wanted to expose them, no, he just likd to be aware.

It was one of his many talents.

Hurrying down to Care of Magical Creatures, Arthur took in the fact they would be heading in to the forest - strange in itself, given the security. But, the professors had likely done a scouring of the area first. Arriving first, Arthur gave the professor a small smile. "Professor Jameson." He greeted, looking over his shoulder to see who else would be heading down to today's class.

Cassiopeia wasn't sure how she would feel about this attack what was here at school. She kind of felt it wasn't safe here anymore but same time she didn't care that much. She just was glad that she is still in one peace and well nothing bad really happened. She still is confused why that did even happen but she won't harm her little head with that.

Awhile walking towards Care of Magical Creature place on the grounds she was thinking why she had missed first two lessons basically. Well, first one she missed because she forget about it and another one she was sick at that time probably. She wasn't really sure but same time she didn't care that much about it right now. At least she did show up in the last lesson of the year.

She soon reached where she needed to be. "Hello," she said simply and wondered what they will learn here today now.

Having to repeat your second to last year was most definitely one of the most annoying things in the world. Especially as Nirek could now be looking to what he wanted to do in the wider world. Making plans. However, failing your second to last year also had its benefits when you had a girlfriend who was a couple of years younger than you. Yes, this failure meant Nirek got to spend more time with Caramarienne, albeit in secret, and that much made the year repeat much more bearable.

Heading out in to the grounds, Nirek wondered if he was going to get a glimpse of his girlfriend that day, or whether he would have to wait until later. This meant Nirek's mind was definitely elsewhere as he arrived rather quickly down at the meeting point for Care of Magical Creatures.

Noting his arrival, Nirek jumped from his daydream, and greeted the professor. "Morning, sir." Nirek spoke, before stepping to the side, waiting for classes to start.

Christopher's mind was a million miles away from the lesson that he was about to attend. Truth be told he was thinking about Keona, the girl whom he was - without a doubt - going to marry one day. The discussions would take place over the summer, and Christopher was confident that if not engaged, a betrothal would be in place for the two of them. It made him feel a little giddy, truth be told, but outwardly he remained his usual calm, confident self.

Moving out in to the grounds, Christopher hurriedly made his way down to the forest as he'd seen his classmates doing. Hopefully Keona would come down too, and they could work together on whatever animal Professor Jameson brought for them this lesson.

Arriving down at the meeting area, Christopher was pleasantly surprised with the subject matter, his eyes widening just a little at the sight of a Hippgryff. He'd expected something much more plain after the attack, but it seemed Professor Jameson wasn't going to be shaken.

Creatures were never likely to be her thing, Elenore was quite sure of that much. Unless they were well looked after, and not infested with fleas or something equally as bad, she could tolerate them. However, caring for them was such a... a servant kind of activity. Elenore knew herself to be much higher than that level, which was why she had something of a distasteful look on her face as she moved out in to the grounds and towards the Forest for their lesson.

Her Mama had written to her just this morning with yet another warning of vigilance. As a Clement, an heiress, a pureblood, and the daughter of the French Head of the Department of Magical Law, she was a very good prize. It was not something Elenore hadn't thought about, of course, but her mother had always been over cautious. Wondering if Caramarienne and Jacques had been subjected to the same words, Elenore found herself getting to the lesson much quicker than she might have thought possible.

Giving the professor a faux smile, Elenore situated herself towards the back of the class, much less than keen of the beast before them.

Care of Magical Creatures... Caring for something... Jacques did not overly like the idea of being a slave to some lesser being, but he had little and less choice in the matter. Dropping subjects was not something the Slytherin had contemplated, which meant he had to grin and bear these classes as best as he could. But caring for animals...

Jacques was still grumbling internally as he made his way to the lesson that morning. Only two more years, and he'd finally be free of this trivial mess that was school. Why did he even have to bother when his parents could simply bring in tutors, experts from around the world, and teach him what he wanted to know?

It was ridiculous!

However, as Jacques moved in to the clearing, he noted an animal he'd seen before. Merlin's beard it seemed so long ago since he'd interacted with the Hippogryff... This time, however, he was not going to be so arrogant to think he could get away without a bow. He valued his life, much more than he had all those years ago.

Sophie made her way to Care for Magical Creatures hoping she would not be late, as she soon rushed with getting ready. Looking around her common room. The sixteen year old wanted to do well, and for some reason had not put much effort into the year. Resulting in her making her way down the steps and hoped that she was not too late. Thinking of what they would possibly be learning of what nature and soon looking she was outside. And from a distance she could see people and she soon hoped she was not too late. Making her way and from what she knew her sixth year was far from great.

Soon she saw she was not as late as she thought she was and she soon let out a sigh of relief, proceeding to think about her brother and what he could have been doing and she soon looked and listened.

As she eyed the other students looking around which caused her to think for a moment as she wondered what she would be learning as she sat back in the class thinking. And hoping that she would at least do something right.

Tristan had enjoyed all his classes even though he often felt that perhaps he should have attend them this year. And before he would get letters from his parents. He knew that for these last couple of lessons it would smart for him to attend. Leading the prefect to walk out as he knew that he practically screwed up his fifth year. And that the chances of him doing well seemed quite slim. Before he knew he had arrived outside and he felt the nice summer breeze on him. Since maybe he would have some freedom over the summer. Leading him to walk as he soon looked around the outside.

Making his way he could see were forming and he let out another smile. Hopefully he was not late, since a couple weeks before he managed to get an howler from his parents which was far from good. Since he knew that would not be good and him failing his exams and all that would lead to him not exactly having the best sixth year. Knowing that perhaps he should not have slacked off.

Leading him to soon find the group of students as he let out a smirk watching them, the Slytherin soon hoped that he could earn some of his attention. Then watching as he waited for the class and hoping it would be good.

When it came to classes this year Simon was feeling as if he let himself down as he walked out to the classes, and he was worried on what he would have to do. Since he knew slacking off was not something Simon was used to, but it seemed that was this year was about. Knowing that if anything happened it would be on him. Even if he wanted to make sure that he was just as an overachiever as his older brother Cole who managed to the top student in his house. Although Simon knew he failed at that but he knew that he would not let that happen the next year as he rushed to his class.

Not caring if he looked ridiculous making his way to class, and hoped that he would not run into any of his siblings and he sure as hell did not want to get in any trouble. Then before he knew it he had arrived at the class and he then soon manage to arrive and made his way to class looking around a bit more. Simon had been relieved as he tried his best to go out of the site of his older sister. And not wanting to be at all seen by her.

Simon then looked and brought his attention to the class.
