Neve was born to two loving parents, and was given a moderate upbringing from a young age. Being an only child meant that Neve got lots of love and attention. She never became a spoiled brat, though, for her parents didn't spoil her rotten, but gave her what they believed she needed, and only treats on special occasions.

Neve was a happy child, though, and when she was sent off to Hogwarts, she was sorted in to Hufflepuff. Magic was always one of those things that was cool to have, but not something Neve found she wanted a career in. Spending a number of years simply acting as a waitress at a bar in Nottingham, Neve finally made her mind up on what she wanted to do with her life.

She wanted to write, professionally.

Which meant she needed to go back to education, to university.

However, despite all of this, there is one important night that Neve has never forgotten. The night she met Gabriel. He was an enchanting man, her best friend's older brother, actually, and he was... exquisite. Spending the night conversing to her in Italian, a language she had not learnt at the time. But, she had led beside him and simply watched him.

Gabriel was beautiful.

When she had fallen asleep, Neve did not know, but when she had awoken, Gabriel had gone. She waited for him to return, for weeks, checking in with his sister, but Gabriel had gone off with his studies, and Neve had been left with a peculiar feeling in her chest.

And a strong will to learn Italian.
