| Full Name: Blake Mason Position: Muggle studies professor Qualifications & Previous Education: He graduated with great marks in his NEWTS. He graduated University as an auror, and as a muggleborn he's defintely knowledgable about all things Muggle. Activity: Yes, mostly, except in the month of July; I'll be away for almost the entire month. I can PM someone the class, though. Roleplay Example: Blake looked around the class, a light frown on his face. This wasn't exactly what he had in mind when he volunteered for a long-term undercover role, but he supposed it wasn't all that bad; he'd always loved teaching, and with both sides of his family being Muggles it was surprisingly easy for him to get the job. It helped, naturally, that Jake was also there -- not that they acknowledged knowing each other before this.
With a flick of his wand, Blake's somewhat messy, but just legible handwriting appeared on the chalkboard. "Muggle Photography".
He'd managed to get his hands on a few old poloroid cameras, about one per pair of students, and these were arranged on the desks. It wasn't going to be too hard a lesson, he hoped. As the class came pouring in, Blake greeted each student by name, shaking his head at some who asked questions; later, he told them, grinning.
When everyone had finally taken their seats, and pointed to the words on the board and asked, "So, who can tell me the difference between our photography and Muggle photography?"
There were a few answers, then, and he noted each one, awarding house points as necessary. "Good," he said, signalling the end of the discussion. "As mentioned, muggle pictures are still when printed; they don't move. It's also electronic, sometimes, so you can upload it to computers. Today, however, we will be working with instant pictures."
He picked up a poloroid on his desk, and walked them through how to use it. |
