PostSubject: Cayman Escapade (Jackson)   Thu Nov 23, 2017 11:10 pm

Sasha had finished with her school for this year and she did get the letter from Jackson. She was actually glad to hear that he was already in his way here. Well, the girl did do few last minute shopping before she began to back her things. There were still few things she needed for this vacation for her. Like her formal dresses, since she knew what she wanted already. Well, she did do some searching before she went shopping, so this part was easy for girl.

Once the girl was done shopping she began to pack her stuff and she hoped she will be one time. She just packed just in case couple options. Even if she mostly needed warm weather clothes, just in the case took some sweaters too. She did pack her makeup and all other girly stuff she needed for this trip. Also, some other things she needed.

Well, once she was done packing she went to talk with her mother. Sasha knew that her father was once again on some business trip, she learned it if she didn't see him around the house and also when asked where is father from her mother. She tried to say to her mother that she will go soon then on her vacation trip for a week but the woman didn't seem to listen, just was so busy writing something down.

"Ugh," the girl said and just left her mothers office and did bring her luggage down from her room to living room. Well since there was still some time she sat down on her living room sofa and just began to watch some random show on TV. She didn't really watch it. This just played in the background, she just thought about things. The girl actually had a lot on her mind.

Waiting for some exiting to happen seemed to be a boring thing to do. She wasn't exactly sure when Jackson will be here but according to letters, it was today. So all she could do was hope it will be like that.

As much as Jackson hated flying via airplanes, he knew the trip to London would be best spent the slow way. The young man doubted any studying would get done once he was reunited with Sasha after their months of written correspondence and a last minute revision always helped. So the politician had bit the bullet and booked a ticket. He'd even opted for a day long transit in a European country he couldn't even spell let alone pronounce. And as a result, had studied all the way through his journey.

It had been especially hard in a small, enclosed plain where wine was served with every course. Fucking Europeans with their ill considerate natures. The whole flight had smelled like the sweetest bouquet of drinks, testing Jackson's very last reserves. Still, he'd managed to avoid the temptation of delicious, free, limitless alcohol by focusing on his work. By the time he landed in London, he could recite his speeches by heart, something that gave him immense satisfaction.

It wasn't difficult to locate Sasha's house, but it was somewhat difficult to find a flower vendor nearby. Jackson may not have been much for formality but even he knew not to show up at a young lady's house empty handed. The bouquet of sunflowers and freesia made for a pleasant smelling arrangement full of the vibrant colors of summer. When he arrived at the impressive home, the raven haired wizard let out a low whistle. Of course, if she went to Kit Harrington's parties, her parents had done well for themselves.

Flowers in hand and an excited grin on his features, making him look younger than his years, Jackson rang the doorbell and waited. Would the wait finally be over?

Sasha kept watching the TV there and well mostly go through channels just to find something interesting but there really wasn't anything that did catch her eyes. So she left it at some random channel open and instead began to look through her phone. Well, of course, the girl had one. In her social media wasn't anything really interesting either.

She was glad when she heard the doorbell. That made her rise from the sofa and she walked towards the door. She really hoped it was Jackson so she could have something to do finally. Things will go be more interesting ones for sure and fun. The girl took a deep breath and opened the door.

Sasha smiled when she saw there Jackson with flowers, well she didn't really care if he brought any or not. "Hey, Jackson," she said there with a small smile on her face. She really was glad to see him there now. She really wasn't sure what to else to say. "Oh, come in," she said and stepped aside. She knows she needs to put flowers in the vase anyway.

The girl had no idea if he will meet her mother or no. Her mother was still in her office and writing probably. She never even came out of her room when there was doorbell. She was usually one who said to her mother she had visitors to her. So probably he won't see her.

The grin on Jackson's face brightened considerably when Sasha opened the door, her pale face framed by those red hair he couldn't stop thinking about all the way on the flight. The young woman barely had the chance to call out a "hey" before he was moving forwards to envelope her in his arms. Jackson squeezed her softly against him, taking in deep lungfuls of the perfume she wore. It had been far too long.

"Aren't you a sight for sore eyes," she breathes, loosening his grasp on her only slightly so be could look down to her eyes. "You have no idea how much I've wanted to see you these past few weeks.," she admitted sheepishly before letting her go.

"And of course, I came prepared," he chuckled, offering the newly bought bouquet to her with a flourish. As she ushered him in, the young politician followed obediently, wondering if he would get the pleasure of being introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Denver. But Sasha only led him into what looked to be a an empty living room with the TV turned on.

"So, are we meeting your parents or ready to leave? You're packed right? please don't be one of those girls who needs an extra fifteen minutes to fix her make up." Though nothing about her thus far indicated she was high maintenance in any way, it never hurt to check.

Sasha didn't really expect him to hug her. This was something that was a bit out of her comfort zone since she was barely hugged but she didn't really mind being hugged. The girl did hug him back too there. Seemed like the right thing to do.

She smiled when Jackson did let her go. "It's nice to see you too," she had to admit it. She couldn't really lie about it for sure there now. "Well I did wait to meet you again too, of course," she added it too. She really did it. Basically, he was one of few people who managed to make her smile for real, not some fake smile.

"Oh thank you," she said and took the bouquet from him and smelled it. It did smell good for sure. "I will go to find some vase for them," she said there now ready to walk towards the kitchen where she knew some vases were held but she heard Jacksons questions. So she stopped in her tracks and turned around.

"My father is on his business trip in France or something. And the mother is in her office trying to write something for her book, so best not to disturb her right now. My things are packed already and no I don't need some extra time for makeup," she said there now something. She really was ready to go, maybe she could even take these flowers with her.

The girl was just about to exit the living room with her flowers when he asked of her parents, making her stop in her tracks. Over the months, Jackson had gotten a pretty good overview of how Sasha's parents treated her presence around the house, but to be here and to "see" it for himself was another thing entirely. Would her mother really not want to come out and say goodbye to the young woman? He had had to groan and whine through several hugs and kisses from Merida, the neighbor, Old Ma Simmons and about half of Green Lake gathered at Merida's front gate to see him off.

Opting not to say anything, he waited for Sasha to go put the flowers away. When she returned, he had a warm smile on his face once more. Now was not the time to comment on her parents shortcomings. "So, where are the bags, Ma'am, I can help you with those since I sent all my stuff ahead of us." Should he be pointed to her luggage, Jackson would easily swing it in his arms before leading her out of the big house. There seemed to be little desire for anyone to say goodbye or wish anyone good luck. At that moment, as they exited the house, Jackson presided himself he would take Sasha to Green Lake at least once. There, she would be fussed over and cared for as she deserved.

Once they were outside and in an apparition safe area, Jackson moved the bags to one side, reaching for Sasha with the other. Shall we," he asked, but instead of taking her hand, the young man reached to wrap his hand around her waist, pulling her closely into him. "Just hold on to me tight," he advised as he readied them for one of the most difficult kinds of apparitions known to man. "And remember, the time zones where we're heading are different. So it may be dark, and a bit disorienting. Just hold on to me okay?"

Once she had replied a yes, Jackson would close his eyes, pull the girl closer to him and began the process. In under two seconds, the duo spun around once and then disappeared, leaving no trace of their presence behind.

Sasha didn't really care about her mother is doing anymore. She really just wished that she could really move out this house already and won't have to deal with them anymore but she still had few more years for that. She knew her mother will come out of her office room only when she needed new coffee or tea. She just wasn't sure when that woman did even eat, she hasn't seen her doing it for a while. I guess when she is in her own room or outside.

Anyways she went a put kitchen and took vase from one of the cupboards there. Filled it vase with water and put her flowers in there. She came back with flowers and did put them down on the living room coffee table. Sasha did wish her mother to say goodbye too but she knew it won't happen. When they were ready to leave then the girl did just smile and nodded her head.

She pointed where her stuff was and she was glad that she didn't really have to carry it all herself. She was bit surprised when Jackson did wrap an arm around her waist but she didn't begin to complain now. There was really no point in it. "Oh okay, I figured that much yeah," she said there with a small smile on her face. She really knew there are time differences between England and America.

The apparition wasn't really something she liked and also she didn't hate it. It didn't make her be dizzy anymore for sure. "Yes, I get it," she said there with a small smile. Then they left this area to go where they supposed. She was kind of glad to get away from her home.

When they landed, it was dark. Gone was the afternoon sun and stars twinkled in the sky. They had traveled across thousands of miles and five hours back in time. the smell of the sea was sharp, soothing and there was definitely sand beneath their feet. Just as intended, Jackson had apperated them to the nearest coastal area to the islands he was completely familiar with. the Cayman's lay still a good hour away, but that last hour would be completed by boat.

"Are you okay," he asked, keeping his hold on Sasha firm in case she was still disoriented. His other hand ensured all her luggage had came through without splinching. Though he himself wouldn't have minded seeing her in only half her clothes, he doubted the dress code at the Gala would allow for such alterations.

"You did great," he reassured her, quickly kissing the top of her head before letting her go. Taking in a deep lungful of the ocean breeze, he smiled into the darkness. "We've come at a good time, the sun will be rising as we speed across the water. You'll get to see it up close, the sky changing colors."

Just as the two were appreciating the scenic beach, silent footsteps accompanied by soft sounds of movements were heard. "And there's our honor guard," Jackson joked just as three servicemen came into view. Each one saluted sharply at Jackson who returned the gesture to perfection. Every politician knew how to put on a show.

"Gentleman, we thank you for your service. This is my escort for the event, Miss Sasha Denver, her security is to be given precedence over mine."

"Sir!" the three men uttered sharply before leading them to the silent, powerful motorboat waiting for the company.

When they finally landed where they were supposed to be the girl looked around to understand where they were. It seemed to be somewhere near sea since it made sense. The girl wasn't so disoriented this time but this time differences made her bit confused. She wasn't sure what time it was here exactly. Actually, this wasn't really that important right now.

"I'm okay, just needs to get used to this darkness a bit for now" she assured him now. She really was okay. Sasha was ready for this trip even if she had no idea how this will end. All she knew this could be fun and interesting experiences for her.

She smiled when he kissed the top of her head. She really wasn't sure what to take it as. She knows that Jackson might have feelings for her, well she noticed he said few times love or something but she herself wasn't really sure how she felt. She was so confused about all this yet. So she tried to still figure out what she feels there.

"Oh, nice. I guess it has been so long since when I saw seen the actual sunrise," she said with a small smile on her face. She really can't really recall memory when she saw last time the actual sunrise, she has seen only parts of it but not fully for years. Sunset is another thing for her for sure. That she has seen plenty times.

Sasha looked at those three men who joined them and nodded her head there. "Oh okay. I guess guards are needed," she said mostly to herself. She hasn't had guards never around her, so she wasn't sure how she should feel about them really.

She really wasn't sure how much of guards she will need but she kind of glad that they were there the same time. Mostly since she knew the press will be there and she has some secrets she needs to protect. So it's good to have those guards around.

Well, Sasha just followed others there since she had no idea where exactly they were supposed to go. She wasn't really familiar with this area at all since she has never been here before. So the only option was to go where Jackson and those three men went.

As the climbed aboard the boat, Jackson spotted the name and grinned. On the side of the sleek white vessel printed in gold were the words " The S. S. Eleanor." The designer or sponsor of this little beauty must have been a Roosevelt fan, he judged as he hopped aboard and politely waited for one of the servicemen to help Sasha up. Her luggage was taken by the others and Jackson knew from past experience that the men would make themselves scarce once the boat was humming along.

Just as expected, the men scattered, leaving Jackson and Sasha to enjoy the smooth purr of the engine as the boat cut through the calm sea, making very little noise. Offering Sasha a hand, the young man guided the redheaded to the pro, holding on firmly in case there was any jostling or in case she wasn't used to the movement of a boat.

"One day, I'm going to buy a boat," he grinned, letting slip one of his dreams as he stared out at the perfect waters. "We have a lake at Green Lake, obviously," he joked as he continued. The lake was the only attraction his small town offered, so much so that the tourism website had once literally said "We have a lake" and that was all it had said.

"Only one family was rich enough to have an honest to god boat," he explained. "They were not true Green Lakers, just one of those families who needed a quiet cheap place to summer but still be able to tell their extended family and friends they had a summer place. So they took a house in Green Lake, and bought a shabby old boat." Jackson hadn't thought about it in years but now the memory was recalled fondly.

"As kids, we used to sneak into their property and take out their elderly boat for joyrides. It was amazing. I even carved the word "MERIDA" on it and pretended it was mine for a bit." The boat had also served him greatly when not in the open waters, it was the ebst place to bring a girl and relieve her of her many virtues. But Sasha didn't have to know that.

"Have you ever been on a boat? If not, how do you like this one? Though this is navy vehicle technically so not all boats are so sweet a ride."
