| Kate's summer had not been too thrilling, to say the least. She had visited her father, and traveled around a little. But it was just another summer to her. She was excited for the new year, to welcome back all the familiar faces and the new first years that would be coming to goin her class hopefully. She was in high hopes of finding one student who was just as interested in History as she was. She finished tidying up her room from the stray cobwebs from here to there. To occupy herself now, she was rearranging her books in the cabinet.
On her chalk board was written "What makes History Boring?". She was determined to at least get one student interested into her classes, even if it meant she had to change her method of teaching. Letting out a short breath she smiled happily around the room. Nodding her head in satisfaction she sat down behind her desk and cracked open a history book while waiting for the students to arrive. |

| History of Magic had shown up next on Finley's timetable, and after packing his bag accordingly, he'd followed Naomi down to the First Floor for their class. He understood why many people found History of Magic boring, but Finley loved it. Before Hogwarts, magic had been only a myth to him. Something that simply didn't exist.
But that had been completely thrown out of the window four years when it had been announced that he was actually a wizard.
Therefore, Finley loved listening to Professor Juvenca explain about the History of the magical world. How it had become what it was today. Sometimes, however, he could feel the negative energy just pouring from the other students, and he wished they simply stayed away from the class rather than wasting everyone's time.
That, however, was not something he had the power to do. Taking out his books, Finley sent a small smile in the professor's direction, hoping she would somehow understand he wanted to be here. |

| The Gryffindor absolutely hated History so to be in the History of Magic class that year irked him. The boy made sure to walk extra slow to the classroom, however, his plan didn't work and he was still extremely early to the class. Once against, he ran into the same boy from Herbology and no one else. Kai wondered why none of the older students had come and he silently begged for someone older to show up.
Taking a seat towards the back of the room, Kai pulled out his books and something to write with before looking up to the board. He found himself rolling is eyes as he thought of all the many things that made history boring.
If Adaline had been here, then it would've been his goal to pass notes the entirety of class. Instead, he was stuck with this kid that seemed to never speak. He rested his head of his hands and closed his eyes, waiting for the class to begin. |

| The young Gryffindor carried her History of Magic books in her arms. The class interested her, especially since she pretty much knew nothing about the Wizard world. Her parents weren't magical so it was up to her to learn whatever she wanted all by herself. Sometimes, the concept of having to really study in order to pass something or constantly try was annoying and it upset Layla, but she'd never give up. The girl's goal was to be the best witch that she could possibly be.
Despite the girls favourite class being Ancient Runes, the History of Magic class had to rank in place number two for her.
Layla walked into the class and greeted the professor before sitting near the front of the class. There was an older Gryffindor there and a slightly older Ravenclaw, both of which she offered a slight smile to before sitting. Layla was excited to be back at Hogwarts and learn even more this year, especially since she had made it onto the Gryffindor Quidditch team. |

| Chanelle did like to study about magic history so much as she could actually. So that's why she did walk right now towards thr history of magic classroom since thete lesson will began soon. She walked pass from people and had smile on her face. She just seemed to be happy outside but didn't mean she was happy inside too. Soon she walked into the classroom and saw there professor and few her schoolmates.
"Hello," she said with a small smile on her face. She did take a seat un first row and looked at board. She noticed the question there. Fof her it was interesting class most of times. Only thing she could think what most people is too many facts and dates to remember. She sighed and wondered what to say exactly. She looked what others did and soon looked back at board. She tried to figure out what to say when she is asked to answer to question on board. |

| Kate was glad to have students show up to her class, maybe she wasn't doing something wrong. "Good Morning. Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed your summer." She started as the clock hand in the back of the class room marked the beginning of the class.
"Now. I want to make this class fun for all of you so you don't find yourself falling asleep. That means you too, Mr. Reid!" She called out to the boy who looked like he was going to fall over. She smiled again, waiting a second as she chuckled. "Who can tell me, what makes this class boring? I wont get offended by anything, so throw it at me!" She was curious to their answer and wanted only to make sure that they got the most out of her lessons so they might pass their final exams and the big two. OWLS and NEWTs. |

| Naomi and Finley entered History of Magic, Naomi shooting Professor Juvenca a smile as the pair took their seats. While history wasn't and probably never would be one of her favorite subjects, she still enjoyed it well enough and it was generally interesting to her.
Reading over the topic on the bored, Naomi's brow furrowed gently. Well... it wasn't really boring, was it? There was an incredibly complex relationship between past, current, and future events that was rather fascinating to study, if hard to decipher.
Hesitantly, Naomi raised her hand when the professor asked the written question. "Uh, I guess because it can be complicated or hard to understand?" she said, more of a question than a statement. It wasn't really boring to her, but maybe that made it boring for other people? Really, Naomi wanted to hear what everyone else said, not make a guess at how other people might find the past boring. |
