Full Name: Summer Penelope Wilhern Age: 20Date of birth: 17th October 1997Birthplace: Kent, EnglandCurrent home: London, EnglandBlood Status: MugglebornSexual Alignment: HeterosexualWand type: Sycamore, Dragon Heartstring, 12 1/2 inchesLooks
Hair colour and style: Summer has long, brown hair which curls past her shoulder. She normally wears it loose or ties it up in a French braid, a practical hairstyle she prefers whenever she is out on photo walks and other sorts of adventures. Eye colour: Brown Height: 5'4"Body type: SlimDress sense: Flashback dress sense: There is an understated elegance to Summer's style. She is not one to follow trends, preferring to express herself through vintage-style clothes with wispy fabrics and rich colours. Her clothes often accentuate her slim, petite figure, making her look like a fairy tale princess who had time traveled to the 2010s and adapted to modern sensibilities. Her travel-friendly yet feminine style is meant to capture her personality—though she may seem like a demure doe-eyed waif, Summer is a creative, adventurous and romantic girl at heart. Current dress sense: Summer has started to prefer wearing clothes with a more 'elegant bad girl' vibe. Think punk band shirts, leather jackets and ripped jeans. However, she still has her elegance, and she normally pairs these up with a silk scarf or heels, therefore balancing her style. She acquired the style after staying in Paris and observing French women, who liked mixing and matching their outfits.Personality

Summer grew up a precocious homeschooled child thanks to the Wilherns' determination to make her into a successful career woman someday. She was creative, quick-witted, and her imagination never failed to entertain the family. So when 'funny things' happened to her and she talked to the Wilherns about it, the Wilherns chalked it up to her vivid imagination. The dejected Summer eventually began to retreat into herself due to her parents not believing in her, and their negligence was something her parents would always regret. It was difficult for the Wilherns to accept and understand the existence of witches and wizards at first, and when Summer lived in Hogwarts as a Gryffindor student, the Wilherns constantly bombarded Summer with letters both pressuring her to become an excellent student while reminding her about all the things she should do to stay safe. Frustrated, Summer ended up doing the opposite of what she was being told to do. Though she made a good amount of friends in Hogwarts, she gave very little effort in her studies and barely passed the subjects. Summer developed a reputation for being brilliant but flaky, and most people thought she wouldn't amount to much as an adult. Though Summer would never admit it, her bad reputation did frustrate her. It wasn't that she didn't care about her education—the truth was that Summer had lost a sense of self. Summer had always struggled with authority, and since education was the epitome of rigid authority over childhood and teenage years, Summer felt as if her real self had been taken away from her. Summer the homeschooled child was given space for her creativity and adventurousness, but Summer the teenager in Hogwarts was starting to learn all about rules and conformity. What hurt Summer the most was the sense of rejection she experienced throughout her life—she felt rejected by her parents for being a witch, and she felt rejected by her peers and professors for being unable to sit still in classes. It came as a surprise to most of her peers and professors when Summer got 5 E's for her O.W.L.s and 3 O's for her N.E.W.T.s. Strangely enough, the fact that Summer's professors gave up bothering her regarding homework and rules turned out to be a good thing. Without feeling as if she was on a leash, Summer was able to learn enthusiastically and look forward to actually going to university. Summer was still undecided about her future, and she still lacked motivation and patience for the academe, but she wanted to prove to everyone around her that she wasn't just some flaky Gryffindor. Summer graduated from Hogwarts with good grades and a newfound confidence.Still uncertain about what major to take, Summer lived in Barcelona for six months then lived in Paris for another six months. She did some soul-searching by working at cafes and taking on the odd au pair jobs. It was difficult and unstable, but she found that she liked difficult and unstable. She also met a muggle photographer named Adrian Fernandez Arellano, with whom she took photo walks around Barcelona and Paris. Adrian showed her how street photography involved both creativity and adventure, things Summer enjoyed best. When she came back to England for university, she decided to take a Major in Visual Arts specialising in Street Photography. She is currently on her first year in university.Family

Family Background
Maria Isabel Sandoval de Luna, a woman from an artistic Spanish family, grew up knowing the ways of the British more than the Spanish. Her grandfather moved his family to the UK before the Spanish Civil War, as he had friends who could protect his family there, and after the end of the Civil War it never occurred to the Sandovales to come back to Spain. Isabel then grew up in Kent, England where she was homeschooled and given the freedom most children of nobility couldn't enjoy. When she came of age, she moved to Paris seeking a career in painting and met Charles Wilhern, a British professor of Engineering.Next to Isabel, Charles Wilhern often felt insecure about his career as a 'mere professor'. While Charles was a well-respected professor and engineer in his own right, Isabel had managed to gain recognition as a successful painter. Charles did his best to match Isabel's sophistication and success with a fine mind—what he lacked in fame, he made up for with his brains. Though their relationship had a rocky start due to the insecurities and problems caused by long-distance relationships, they were eventually able to get married and become a formidable couple who were admired both for their skills and devotion to each other. Both the Sandovales and the Wilherns are descendants of wizarding families, which is why Charles and Isabel were able to have three muggleborn magical children.
