 A Meeting (Sumire)

PostSubject: A Meeting (Sumire)   Wed Mar 30, 2016 6:54 am

The day seemed to be dragging on and Lucy was becoming increasingly bored. She'd finished her homework with buckets of time to spare, and all her friends, except for a noted few who had recently become busy for the moment, had become too dull for her to want to be around anymore. In fact, she was finding that she missed her sister, and her family for one of the first times in a long time.

So she opted for a walk around the grounds, something that had always worked to clear her mind and allow the worries of the girl drama (that yes, she had facilitated and even contributed to, but sometimes even those that thrive from drama need a break from it every now and then), and the worries from school. She figured that the serenity of the Black Lake would do her well. She walked along the edge, deciding to take her shoes off and dip her feet in the water.

Sumire was having a stressful spring time. She felt like there was a Doomsday clock on her biological self and it was ticking down the days until the Big Change. It made her cringe at the idea that soon she'd be a creature. She'd no longer be a human and she sure as hell would no longer be an actress. Magic and movies didn't mix. Especially not in America. Though it was socially acceptable to be a witch apparently, thanks to things like Sabrina the Witch and Charmed, or something that made magic more archaic or woman orientated. Still, she couldn't imagine that Hollywood would react very well to her Veela magic working on them to convince them to do as she pleased.

She wasn't like that.

She didn't have a power hungry bone in her body. She didn't want that kind of attention. She was content to have the spotlight and the starlight on off-days. She could even be happier without the spotlight if it meant that she could spend her days with Felix at her side for eternity. Except, she had a sinking feeling in her gut that soon enough Felix would be leaving her. She shook the thoughts from her head. Today she wore denim high-waisted jeans to emphasize her perfectly sized hips and black off-the-shoulder vee-neck long sleeved crop top to go with her black flats. She rolled up her jeans and headed out to get some sun and enjoy the good weather that Scotland rarely so got. As she arrived she noticed another figure sitting along the lake, and smiled at the image of the girl. This other girl was beautiful, she decided as she approached the lake.

"Hello," she greeted with a chipper tone, "may I join you? It's awfully sunny and perfect for company."
