Likes: - Alcohol; What's not to love? Takeo is a social drinker. He likes he go out and have a few drinks with his friends, and get to know other people along the way. All in all he finds little wrong with a nice alcoholic beverage while in the company of others. He's not a fan of drinking alone however, and is unlikely to do it unless in a more sombre mood.
- Literature; The written language is a form of art in itself, and is one that Takeo greatly appreciates. His favoured pastime is reading, whether it be the news or the various genres of fiction that have been written throughout history, there will always remain a certain soft spot for literature in his heart.
- Animals & Magical Creatures; An overall fan of nature itself, Takeo is fascinated by the animals of the world. An interest that had been fostered since childhood Takeo has spent most of his life around different types of animals. This interest has carried on with him into later life as his interest range has increased over into the realm of magical creatures. A personal goal of Takeo is to study and learn as much about the creatures of this world as he can, of particular interest to Takeo is the Nundu.
- Tea; Takeo enjoys the simple pleasures in life, tea being one of them. The primary source of his water intake throughout his lifetime, it is not often that Takeo will go without at least three to four cups of tea throughout the day. He swears he is not addicted.
- Walking; What can he say? He enjoys going for a stroll, particularly during the early hours of the morning. Takeo finds that it allows him to clear his mind for the day ahead.
Dislikes: - Ignorance; Takeo despises those who sees as ignorant. Primarily he believes that people should always think of the bigger picture, keeping in mind how their own actions will effect those around them.
- Braggarts; Fools who feel the need to inflate their own ego by boasting about their accomplishments are something Takeo has no time to deal with.
- Not having a choice; A deep seeded thing that has been with Takeo for many years now. Too many things have been changed or decided upon that effect Takeo's own life that he had no say in. It has become perhaps the thing he hates the most, having his own life dictated for him.
- Coffee; He's not a fan, tea is the superior drink in his mind.
Strengths: - Magical Creatures Knowledge; Years of study and general interest has given Takeo a wealth of knowledge on the subject of the magical creatures of the world.
- Reactive Actions; Takeo is best served when reacting to what is going on around him, whether this be in social situations or in a duel Takeo's overall quick agility and reaction time makes it so that he is an adapt hand whenever someone else has taken initiative.
- Patient; As the saying goes, patience is a virtue and one that Takeo possesses in spades.
Weaknesses: - Taking the initiative; His forte is in that of reaction, so taking the first step is often a difficulty for Takeo in life.
- Herbology; Magical Creatures was interesting for Takeo, plants not so much. Suffice to say his focus lay purely on one side of the coin in regards to the nature of the magical world.
- Gambling; A small bet every now and then can't hurt right?
Positive traits: - Agile; Takeo likes to keep on the move, and his light body as well as all around fitness makes him quite agile and fast when it is required of him.
- Keen eyesight; Twenty twenty vision at it's finest, Takeo's eyesight is particularly sharp and he is capable of spotting the more minor details that others maybe miss out on as a result.
- Adaptable; Takeo's been too a lot of places, been in a lot of situations. Over the years he has learned to be able to adapt quickly and avoid being caught off guard or in an uncomfortable situation.
Negative traits: - Poor Conversationalist; Takeo can struggle sometimes when it comes to conversing with others often struggling to express himself in the verbal form well enough.
- Judgemental; They say to never judge a book by its cover. Takeo found that the covers of books often betray the contents within, that is to say he has not taken the saying to heart. He is quick to judge those he meets and it is often difficult to sway him from the initial judgement he has made.
- Obsessive; Takeo finds it difficult to let go of things, there is little else to say about it other than it is a problem he is very much aware of but can't seem to do anything about.
Born into the half-blood Tadashi family, Takeo was born in Tokyo, Japan which is where he would spend the majority of his early childhood. His parents, both Magizoologists though in slightly differing fields were absent for the first few years of his life. During this time he was cared for by the elders of the Tadashi household and despite their grumblings they did the job of raising him through the early years. During his youth he found an affinity with muggle animals, spending the majority of his time bonding with the pets of the nearby homes whenever he was able to escape from the watchful eyes of the rest of the family.
He had a clear goal in mind from an early age, working with animals. He went to his family with his ideas which were scoffed at due to his age and the absurdity of such a dream. It would be put on the back burner soon after as he was enrolled within the Mahoutokoro School of Magic at the age of seven. While not yet old enough to attend the school, the next few years were spent preparing for the time in which he would enter his first year. Along with the rest of the young children of the family Takeo was drilled on what the elders deemed necessary. With such a rigorous schedule it left little time for the poor lad to go and play with the animals he loved so dearly. Unable to go to a muggle school his dreams were dashed. That was until his father returned from one of his trips. He spoke fondly of his work, piquing Takeo's interest.
Entering Mahoutokoro years later Takeo quickly grew accustomed to the wizarding life. Takeo found his affinity quickly, excelling in Care of Magical Creatures and Defence against the Dark Arts early on. The other subjects didn't come as naturally, though with his love of reading coupled with the drilled practice routines into his head Takeo found himself thriving throughout his time in the school. The only slight on his record would come with Herbology where he would just be unable to find an interest in the subject. Obsessive studying paid off during the course of his tenure in Mahoutokoro, pink robes turning to gold as the years went by.
Graduating from Mahoutokoro Takeo found himself at a crossroads. Returning home for only a few months the young man was already setting out to follow in the footsteps of his parents. Working as a Magizoologist was almost a foregone conclusion to Takeo, as it had been what he had turned his attentions to toward the end of his tenure and became the focus of his studies. The unfortunate passing of his mother during this time helped strengthen his resolve in a way, as the work she had been doing remained truly unfinished.
Takeo left Japan soon after, intent on travelling the world to study before committing to one true location where he would conduct his research. After travelling for two years he would eventually come to settle in London, England seeing it as a more central location for his expeditions and trips.

The Tadashi family are a long living half-blood branching line from a now extinct pureblood family. Their roots have always been firmly within Japan, with even those that venture out into the world eventually returning and settling back down in the country after. The family has a history of producing exceptional duellists who would be famed throughout Japan, though in recent generations there has been a shift toward healers and other areas of expertise.
Takeo's father was born a Tadashi, he attended Mahoutokoro and excelled in Care of Magical Creatures, though the rest of his studies were lacking. A passion for nature and a thirst for adventure drew him away from finishing his studies and the man went travelling about the world from a young age, often not returning to his home country for several years at a time. This trend continued to the present day, though he has slowed down considerably in his years.
His mother was an expert on dragons, having been born into a family known for its Dragonologists. The pair met during an expedition in search of a Chinese Fireball Dragon that had apparently found it's way onto the mainland of Japan during the early 1990s. They would go on to work together multiple times more before forming a relationship and marrying, conceiving Takeo a few years into the marriage.
Takeo's mother went missing when on a expedition to Africa several years ago. She has since been presumed deceased, though his father seems to believe otherwise and has continued to make trips back and forth to the country when he is able to.
