"Do you mind if I join you, Nirek?"

Nirek hadn't answered, letting Madison sit beside him. It wasn't particularly what he wanted, but he supposed their partnership was going to compromise of some... well, compromises.

Nirek had switched off for most of the lesson thus far. Theory had never interested the Gryffindor because he didn't see a future application for it. So long as he knew what the spell did and that he could do it, why was there a need for theory?

He'd come back to the lesson when he heard little Finley stuttering over a spell, promptly kicking the Ravenclaw's chair to make sure it was known he was still here. Didn't want the boy to get too much confidence after all. If Madison didn't like it, well, that was just tough.

But what really interesting was that Profesor Ellingston had moved over to the Ravenclaw and dropped his voice so low that Nirek couldn't hear. Glancing to the witch beside him, Nirek raised an eyebrow, motioning towards the scene literally before them.

Nirek, however, didn't think on it long. Instead ripping his piece of paper and repairing it with ease. He'd mastered this spell in his first year - with small objects. The quill was under the definition of small too, so that fixed up quite easily. However, when Nirek came to the slab (which took some effort to break) his magic was not quite strong enough to get it one go like he had before.

"Reparo!" Nirek spoke clearly, almost getting the wand movement correctly. The slab pieces vibrated a little, but didn't move together. Nirek wasn't flustered though, he might not be the brightest child, but he knew he was not the best at wandwork. Not yet.

"Reparo!" Nirek said again, and a few pieces came together, fusing, but not in one whole piece.

With one more, firmer "Reparo!" the slab became whole again, and Nirek sat back with a smug look on his face.

Sumire found herself nervously fussing with her hair as she entered her Charms lesson, twelve minutes late specifically. She had another bought of nausea in between Ancient Runes once it had ended. She explained in full detail what had occurred in the prior weekend to Headmaster Jameson, and begged for a note. She didn’t want to act when not on the stage and being honest couldn’t hurt her right now she didn’t plan on lying to Professor Ellingston. However, she hadn’t been able to eat or sleep since she received the news. It was so very confusing and she could barely think about her classes. It would have been better for her to stay in the Hospital Ward all day, but she figured that her father hadn’t returned her to school for no reason. Not to mention she’d told her father that she would be able to make it through the day if she went back.

Professor Ellingston?” She murmured as she entered his class, wincing as she realized it was in the middle of the lesson. She shakily handed him the note that merely asked to excuse her for her tardiness, “I’m very sorry I’m late.” She told him.

Still somewhat (okay, highly) disgruntled with having been made to tidy up, Jacques had remained silent throughout the class, giving the professor a very good (though not nearly as intimidating as his father's) Clement glare. Whether it had any affect on the professor, however, Jacques simply didn't know.

Listening to the instructions they were given, Jacques looked at the items and sighed. This was such kids stuff. Though Jacques was a kid, he always thought of himself as much older. Probably because of his upbringing. However, thinking you were older, and showing you were older were two different things.

Tearing the piece of paper, Jacques took out his wand and did the outline of the weird shape that was the mending spell. "Reparo!" He said confidently, and almost a moment later the paper was mended. With a satisfied look on his face, Jacques took the quill and snapped it in half, brushing his finger along the shard of feather by accident.

A small pool of blood formed on his finger, but Jacques hadn't noticed, oblivious to the small pain in his finger as he raised his wand again. Following the same principle as before, Jacques said the words and moved his wand, but the quill meshed together at the wrong angle.

Setting his wand down, Jacques looked around, already losing interest in the lesson. What was the point, anyway? This was a servants spell.

Thank you for your participation - this will still count as one of your three classes.

If you have any questions in regards to the points being handed out (either as a student or professor) please contact myself or another admin via PM to discuss them.
