Background
When Alec was born his mother died not that long after, not being able to take care of Alec by himself, his father gave him up for adoption. Then he was taking in by his Vampire foster family. Alec loved them and was a little bit upset that his father wanted nothing to do with him but was glad that he was raised by the parents he was raised by. Alec loved learning how to be a Vampire by his parents and even wished to be one when he was older. On the day of his eighteenth he asked his parents for one thing and that was to be immortal like they were. After spending his last human birthday the way he was, that night he was turned into a vampire and frozen in time.
He had no problem being immortal, he actually quite liked it and knew that the life of being a vampire was the person he was always meant to be. His biological father would send him Owls, here and there and Alec would write back to be polite but he knew who his real family was and knew that his biological father wasn't it.

Alec isn't sure about his biological parents backround. All he knew was that his mother was a Muggleborn and his father was a Halfblood.
