Background
Growing up was fun for Alex.
Both his parents loved him to death, and what Alex loved the most a week hem was that they always had that day of the week where they spent some quality time with each other. That way they almost never fought and were really close with each other like a loving time. Also, one more reason that made him love that day of the week was because his parents usually gave him some sort of a present if he were a good boy.
His Hogwarts years weren't something extremely fascinating. He had managed to join the Quidditch team during his 4th Year, but he dropped off a couple years later. Now he just plays Quidditch for his own entertainment or his friends.
He had always been an average student, something that did not please his Ravenclaw at heart mother, but she put up with it.
After all, he had average grades only because he didn't want to study.
He knew he was intelligent, he just had to put it to good use.

Family Background
Natalie and Vincent Ward did not know each other when in Hogwarts, surprisingly. Vincent was the joke of the group, and Natalie was the bookworm, always hidden somewhere in the Library. Obviously, they had seen each other at school but they had never actually talked or hung out.
When they Graduated, they both worked in Diagon Alley, and stumbled upon each other one morning while going to work.
They agreed on going out sometime for a drink, and that is how the romance started.
They married 3 years later, and had their only kid, Alexander.
