Background
Both Felix's parents were muggleborns, they raised her in a mostly muggle town, teaching her about Hogwarts and magic in private once she started showing signs of it in her early years and could understand them. At first she wasn't all that interested, with a preference for the muggle way of things, she spent most of her time playing with other kids her age, climbing trees, getting in trouble and trying out every sport her town could offer.
It wasn't until she started accidentally making things happen around her friends that she started to listen to her parents and learned to keep quiet about her abilities, she grew a little more warm to the idea and would talk non stop for days about anything magical.
The day she got her letter she'd been so thrilled that she begged to go get everything on the spot, she was disappointed that she had to wait a week before making her first visit to Diagon Alley. She was eager to get her wand first but her parents got it last, knowing she'd likely try spells the minute she got it. Her unusual wand typing was a brow raiser but she took to it like a duck to water, and took care of it very well after being told that if it breaks no other wand would feel quite the same.

Family Background
Anna and Albert met through work, they were at Hogwarts together but rarely interacted there. They both work for wizard publishing firms and met during a Christmas party after their firms merged into one to cover popular magazines and fictional works. They were both raised with larger families so Felix has many aunts, uncles and cousins to play with, well she did when they still lived in Anglesey but since moving she's limited to birthdays and Christmas get togethers. Her parents wanted a smaller family, knowing that having so many siblings meant that they often had to share many things including much needed love and attention.
Other than the obvious magical abilities the Soulsby's are a pretty normal family.
