- Hair gel; While his hair natural falls into all of the right places, Clay does often express his freedom to sculpt his hair into something a bit more tame. It looks slightly more polished this way, yet still giving off a vibe of him having not tried at all to make it look that good.
- Valentine's Day/Couple's night at the bar; He believes in romance, sure. but there is no better moment to exploit a person than a moment in which their heart has just been shattered. Someone with a broken heart is willing to do almost anything for a glue to hold their heart back together. For usually no more than a night, Claybot is that glue.
- Hard liquor; There is nothing attractive about someone whose drink of choice is a fruit-flavored Vodka or some fermented shit in a can. Liquors such as Whiskey, his drink of choice, give off all of the right vibes that a drink should.
- Jealousy; In the right amounts, jealousy can add something extra into an endeavor. A little "turf war" is fun every now and then.

- Luc; The German Shepherd works as something of a wingman, though that wasn't his original purpose. Clay does live alone, so sometimes it's nice to have a friend around instead of a friend with benefits, or a benefit that is attached to no friendship whatsoever.

- Sex; He has a-lot of it, sure, but it provides him with a feeling more similar to routine than to pleasure. It's something he does. It is what is going to happen when he flirts at a bar on a Monday night. or a Tuesday night. Or any night. It doesn't fulfill any need of his. It just is.
- Oranges; The acidity is bad for his teeth. Plus, they smell rather odd.
- Movies; He finds them predictable. The girl falls for the bad boy. The guy falls in love with that annoying girl who has done nothing but trash him for the entire movie. Clayton does not look for genuity in the romantic aspects of his life; it's not there and he knows that. but he does look for some sort of unpredictability in the fictional world.
- Meeting the parents; This is something he avoids at all costs.
- Attachments; He does not go out looking for something long term. Attachment is messy and he doesn't do messy.

- Persuasion; Clay is very good at getting people to do what he wants. In a way, it is as though he convinces a person that it is not what he desires, but what they desire for him. On occasion, he has convinced people to do the most peculiar of things.
- His looks; He is half Veela, so there is no real effort that has to be put forth into his appearance. He looks good. he always looks good.
- Honesty; Clay does not usually feel the need to lie, as most people do not care/ do not have the ability to care about whether or not the truth will be harmful to their ego. He tends to be straightforward and to the point on most subjects.
- Defensive Magic; A good skill to have in case something goes wrong. His charm does not last forever. It wears away once a person leaves his presence. This has sometimes resulted in attacks. But Clay knows how to fight fire with a larger fire.

- Rejection; He does not often hear the word "no," so it can come as a surprise to him whenever the word is uttered to him. He often freezes up, though he makes sure to keep up the appearance that it has not phased him at all. He goes searching for loopholes and ways to a positive answer. No does not exist. Only it does.
- His looks; While he often uses his Veela fueled looks to his advantage, Claybot does sometimes find that there is such a thing as being too attractive. Unwanted attention is irritating and distracting. And it can take his focus away from whatever goals he is trying to achieve.
- Titanic; While he is not a movie person, Clay will stop everything that he is doing to watch this movie when it is on.

Claybot was born into the family of Henry and Jules Alastair. While he was known to have been the product of an affair between Henry and a Veela woman by the name of Odette, Claybot was accepted by Jules as her own son. His adolescent years were very normal and anticlimactic. He made friends and interacted with the other kids just as a young boy would. This somewhat confused his father, as he'd assumed that his son would have inherited the Veela trait from his mother.

Upon his entry into the Hogwartss chool of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Henry's assumption was proven correct. Claybot began to notice that he'd receive special attention from some of his classmates, occasionally resulting in them bringing him small gifts or doing favours for him (He did very little schoolwork in his third and fourth years).

His father explained to him that this attention was due to his birth mother's biology. Claybot was attractive, but not in the way that most people would be found attractive. He had Veela capabilities, meaning that he could attract others with his looks and put them into a trance of sorts.

In his sixth year, Claybot began experimenting with his ability, He wanted to see how far he could really push it. The consensis; very far. He asked a girl a few years younger than he to steal a pair of shoes from a shop in Hogsmeade, not that he couldn't afford to purchase a pair of shoes. The girl was not caught or arrested, but an hour or so after the fact she came to Claybot with murder in her eyes. She asked him what had happened and why he'd asked her to do something like that.

"Because I can," was his response.

Henry and Jules Alastair met in University; Henry an art student and Jules studying chemistry. They were introduced to eachother via a mutual friend and they hit it off immediately. Once they each exited University, the two married straight away. Jules opened a small bakery on the outskirts of London. Having always had an interest in photography, Henry took the promo shots for his wife's new business.

A year into their relationship, Henry walked into their home one night with a long expression on his face. He'd met a woman on a business trip he'd taken to Paris. He hadn't been in love with her, but he'd felt an attraction that he could not explain. He'd been unfaithful to his wife, and a child had resulted in the process.

Despite the weight of the situation, Jules was calm and patient. She loved Henry, so she would forgive him. She welcomed the young boy into their family with open arms, on one condition; she got to choose the name.
