- Art: Andrew has been an artist ever since he was a kid. He's gotten better and better at it with time, eventually becoming famous.
- Divination: Ever since finding out he possessed the inner eye as a student at Hogwarts, Andrew got really into Divination, to the point he has read every book he could find on the subject.
- Good with animals: Andrew loves animals and always keeps treats in his bag to award to pets he sees in the halls, whether it's an owl, cat, toad, or rat.

Andrew was a good kid. He was born to muggle parents, but that didn't stop them from being overwhelmingly proud of him when he received his Hogwarts acceptance letter at age 11. He was a prefect, then the head of house, as well as the Gryffindor Quidditch captain. It was at Hogwarts he discovered his inner eye and got into Divination. He graduated with top grade and went on to study art. Art was always a passion for him since he was a tiny kid.
Andrew became famous for his moving, wizard art, though at one point he almost dropped at all together. When he was 30 years old his parents died in a car crash. They were on the way to the showing of his newest painting. Andrew fell into a deep depression. He went back to college to get a teaching degree as his parents had wanted him to. He stopped making art completely until a year later. He then picked up a brush and painted his feelings. Art helped him out of his depression streak.
He continued his art for several years and continued college until he decided he wanted something more. He decided to take his love and knowledge of Divination and teach others, after all, that's what his parents had always wanted for him. Where better to teach than his very own old school? Hogwarts.
When Andrew was 32 a small girl showed up on his doorstep. She was an orphan who had ran away from her orphanage and said her name was Clara. Andrew took her in and cared for her. He taught her to read and to write. He also taught her to draw. She told him how she had run from the orphanage because they didn't understand her and because strange things happened around her.
It was only a little while later Andrew discovered for himself what she meant when she got frustrated at her painting, shattering the glass of water used to rinse her brushes without even touching it. He recognized her magical talent and took her back to the orphanage where he immediately adopted her.

Andrew's parents met when Shawn was suing his ex-wife. Charlotte, of course, helped win the case. Shawn then asked her to dinner to 'talk about payment' and it all went uphill from there. They fell in love and Charlotte was expecting by their wedding.
When Andrew was three Shawn's sister got severely sick. Upon hearing the news he moved to London to stay with her in her house, leaving Andrew and his mom back home, so they wouldn't have to go through a huge move. They lasted a couple months before Charlotte couldn't take it anymore. She started applying for jobs in London and found a decently priced house near where Shawn's sister lived and moved herself and Andrew.
Andrew's parents had a beautiful life together, living, having fun, retiring, and finally dying together. They died proud of their son, the wizard, the artist, and their pride and joy.
