Knockturn Alley and especially Borgin and Burkes wasn't exactly a place where Aiden would willingly walk into; the Cursebreaker tended to steer clear of the alley whenever possible however he was in need of a book that was only being sold at Borgin and Burkes. He went through every bookshop in Diagon and none of them had it so he had questioned some of his friends and they told him that Borgin and Burkes would probably have it.

It wasn't a forbidden book but it could land you in Azkaban for a few months if Aurors caught wind of you having it. He was in dire need of it though. Sighing softly as he slipped past the threshold of the shop, Aiden grimaced as the slimy feel of the Dark magic in the air washed over him. His core rebelled against the tendrils of magic that tried ensnaring it and he had to clamp down on his shields to make sure that he wasn't going to go insane from the amount of magic in the air.

Moving through the shelves, he found himself in front of a wall-long shelf filled with books, some that he didn't even bother touching, the ancient languages on the covers not appealing to him in the least. He moved along the wall towards the middle, where books for Curses, Cursebreaking and Warding were. His eyes narrowed in thought as he went over the titles before he pulled one off, flipping it open to check if it was the book that he needed.

The book cover was entirely black with only a single word written on the front in silver; Curses.

Despite the title of the book, it wasn't just focused on curses but also on dismantling them. Reading through the index, Aiden breathed a sigh of relief. This was the book he needed.

Janet's blue eyes glittered as she walked through the store. She hadn't realized there were so many shops devoted to... darker things, to say the least. While she wasn't too interested in actually practicing dark magic just exploring the different stores seemed like an adventure she simply couldn't pass up.

There were so many different types of magic that weren't even really talked about much by most wizards and as Janet reached a long bookshelf her eyes widened. Her fingers grazed over book after book as she walked studied the titles, some in languages she had never even seen before.

She picked one of the books off the shelf, something about it seeming to call to her. She brushed her fingers over the cover, the silver swirls, and designs on it intriguing and seeming to move under her fingers as she watched. The swirls combined in certain spots to create letters that formed a title, but they changed so frequently she couldn't read what it said.

Janet frowned slightly. How could a book have more than one title? Perhaps there was an actual title on the inside? But even as she thought of it she couldn't seem to tear her eyes away from the cover.
