For once, the Slytherin common room was deserted of its usual occupants and Apollonia was the lone person occupying it - though that could also be attributed to the fact that it was pretty much the middle of the night, coming close to midnight. The woman couldn't sleep so she was perched on a couch opposite the fire-place, her legs curled under her and a book was on her lap, closed though as she had grown bored of it after a few minutes.
The radio that was usually blaring loud tunes during the weekend was set on the lowest volume and Apollonia's iPod was plugged into it, the soft tunes of her music playlist leaving the speakers just to break the silence of the room. When it was too quiet in the common room, it was quite eery and Apollonia hated it as it just made her feel weighed down. With the music playing though, even as low as it was, she wouldn't be immersed in her thoughts.
"...I love it when you call me seƱorita, I wish I could pretend I didn't need ya..." She sang, eyes falling closed as she swayed on the couch to the song, a small smile on her lips.
