Likes: -Long hair. Having a younger sister means Bryant has become adept at braiding, curling, and playing with hair. And since he can’t do up his own hair, he will happily play with other people’s hair. With permission, of course!
-Baseball. He’s been playing ever since he could pick up a bat.
-Knitting. His mother taught him how to knit when he was eight, and Bryant has been hooked ever since. He can often be seen sporting a handmade scarf or cuddling in a blanket he’s made.
-Gardening, both magical and non

Dislikes: -Dogs. Ever since he was attacked by a vicious dog when he was younger, Bryant has avoided all canines like the plague.
-Bryant hates confrontations of any kind. If tension starts to form, he will try to leave the situation in any way he can.
-People who purposefully like to antagonize others.
-The cold. Being born in a perpetually hot and muggy place means Bryant has never adapted to the cold.
-Coffee and tea
Strengths: -Endurance. Bryant can run or walk at a reasonable pace for a relatively long time before becoming winded. This is partially something he was born with, and partially through playing baseball.
-Bugs don’t bother him at all.
-Bryant likes to get his homework done as soon as possible. He hardly ever procrastinates.
-Herbology. His father was obsessed with Herbology and taught Bryant whatever he wanted to know, which was a lot.
-It takes a lot to stress Bryant out. He is usually pretty calm. And when he does get overwhelmed, he has several coping methods.
Weaknesses: -Cooking. He is absolutely hopeless in the kitchen no matter how hard he tries.
-Dogs. Bryant is absolutely terrified of them. The larger, the more frightened he is.
-Bryant has no musical talents whatsoever. He likes to listen to music and can appreciate people who are good, but he has no sense of rhythm or tune.
-He doesn’t understand sarcasm at all. Someone has to point it out to him, and even then he will still be a little confused.

Bryant grew up in a middle-class family. He’s known about magic since birth, since his father refused to keep secrets from his family. He has never wanted for anything, but his parents can’t afford very many luxuries. Bryant was always interested in baseball, and his parents were happy for him to be involved in something that kept him active. He’s been playing ever since. At home, his dad began to teach him about plants all of kinds, and Bryant soon had his own mini plot in one of the greenhouses.
When Casiday was born, Bryant swore that he would be the best big brother ever. He’d like to think he’s done a pretty good job, but nobody is perfect. He fell in love with her long hair and loved to braid or play with it.
Bryant was seven when he was attacked by a neighbor’s dog. The man was nasty and never treated the dog well. One day, Bryant was practicing baseball when the dog got loose from its chain and immediately charged at the little boy. Charles, his father, heard the screaming almost immediately and ran out to save his son. There was no permanent physical damage, and the dog was taken away from its abusive owner, but Bryant has been scared of dogs ever since.
Nobody in the family was surprised when Bryant’s Hogwarts letter came. He had been exhibiting signs of magic for years. Luckily, his father had always managed to smooth out any incidents that involved accidental magic. His sister protested the thought of Bryant being so far away, but he promised to send back loads of letters and magic candies. A few months later, he was on the Hogwarts Express ready for his next stage of life.

During his time in Hogwarts, Charles made sure to keep up with his Muggle education as well. He had already decided he was going to work with plants, but he wanted to work in both of his worlds. After Hogwarts, he went to Texas A&M and studied Horticulture. During his Junior year, he met a beautiful Freshman by the name of Erika. It was love at first sight for the both of them, and they got married the day after Erika graduated. Charles had already confessed that he was a Wizard a year earlier and while Erika was confused, she still loved and accepted Charles. Erika got pregnant not too long afterwards, and they couldn’t have been happier. They opened a nursery together. It caters to both Muggles and Wizards. People can buy plants for potion ingredients, or for just around the house. The Magical portion of the shop is separated from the rest and manned solely by Charles.
