As Hathor moved closer, Marcus hid a smile behind his hand, playing it off as a rub of his face. The other man had Hathor's attention, as did the dragons, so it wouldn't have matter if he'd not bothered. Marcus was not the kind of man to show his emotions very openly, but when your wife had gone through so much, it was difficult not to show some emotions.
The beasts moved to Hathor as she gave them food, and he could tell she was enjoying this. The information on her love for the beasts was something Marcus took note of. He would, of course, make note of the things his wife liked, and why. Because even if they hadn't gotten off on the right start, there was something building here now.
As Hathor turned to him, Marcus took in the dragon that was nuzzling her hand and gave her a small smile. "He most certainly does." Marcus replied, moving over to Hathor and sitting with her. With a cautious hand, Marcus moved to pet the dragon, careful not to spook the beast. "But that doesn't mean you can keep him." Marcus told her softly, letting out a soft laugh and then letting his hand rest on Hathor's leg instead of the dragon.
Hopefully, this was enough to help her...
"Are you okay..?" Marcus asked softly, wanting to know that this was enough for her, that Hathor was comfortable, and didn't need for anything else.
