Tessa felt like she was in a dark room with no way out. She found herself trying to walk around looking for a door. But it was like she was finding nothing. That is when she was trying to find a light switch. Just to bring a little light so she wouldn't be in the dark. Nothing was working and it felt like she was going to be here forever. Was this how she was going to die? Or would she be trapped in this dark room forever. It seemed like everything she as trying was just failing. But she wasn't ready to give up as she was going to find a way out for her daughter. As right now she was the only thing that she really cared about. Since Jackson cheated on her which left her feeling like she did with Damien.
All the words that Jackson said to Tessa after Damien cheated was echoing. It was like that she was meant to stay in this hell. And that she wasn't worthy of love as she was the one that was getting bitten. Tessa had no idea how to change it or even make it stop. All she wanted to do was just forget about what he did to her. But she knew that wasn't going to be the case. Was she really unlovable? As he first love Damien cheated on her. Which she was sure that they were going to make it. And then Jackson made sure to drive a dagger in her heart. There was a saying twice bitten and once shy. With all the words she was screaming to make it stop. But it really wasn't but was just getting louder. Why was this happening to her. Had she not suffered enough.
And she had no idea why everything bad was happening to her now. She knew that Jackson ran off and was happy. She wanted to pretend who he ran into her arms. But it made it more painful as she once trusted this person. Now she was betrayed by another person. Her daughter was the only person that she had in her life. And she knew that she was going to give her the world. But first she needed to try to figure out how to bring the light. Tessa felt like this was eating her alive and there was nothing she could do. And there was nobody that she could turn for help. As she didn't want to burden her Dia. As she was getting ready to start her adult life. She just prayed that this would never happen to her. But Tessa knew that she couldn't stop her from being hurt or living life.
“Miss Greene? Miss Greene.” The doctor was calling her name. But this was helping her wake up.
Tessa had opened her eyes and looked around the room. It was the hospital. And she was confused with what was happening. And who was this Miss Greene the doctor was talking about. The doctor started to talk but she was still had a confused look on her face. “Miss Greene, it seemed like you had a very bad accident and you hit you head pretty hard.” That made sense because you don't to the hospital for nothing. She had heard talking coming outside of her room. And she was trying to pick up pieces. “You mother hit her head hard. So, she might not remember her.” But Tessa attention then was brought the healer. He was trying to explain that she lost her memory. And they had no way of telling if this was going to be a short term or if this was permanent. The healer was about ready to tell her more but there was girl who walked into the room. She was coming over to her crying. “Mom, I promise everything is going to be alright.” Tessa smiled as she was looking at the girl. “You look like a nice, good girl. I am glad that you decided to visit me.” Dia was told that her mother wouldn't know who she was. But she made it her life goal to help her remember.
And she knew that she was going to reach out to people who was in her mother life. And she knew that one of those people cheated on her. And her father was still in prison and wouldn't be getting out soon. And she was sure that he wouldn't want to help her as her mom is the reason he was in there. Dia made it her mission and vowed that she was going to help her. First step was getting her to remember that she was her daughter and not just a nice girl who was helping. Dia was told that this could just be temporary or long term which she would have to help her make new memories. Dia was ready to put her life on hold to help her mom. But she knew that she couldn't pause her schooling as she was so close. But she knew that the house elf would help her. And she knew that she could also help her remember. Because she been with her for as long as she could remember. Dia knew that this was her best bet. She was also going to talk to her best friend Azalea. As she knew that she would be willing to help her. Because remembered all the of the stories growing up of how close they were.
She smiled as she was looking at her mom. “I promise I am going to help you getting better.” Dia then grabbed her mom hand just to make sure she knew it. She knew that this was going to be a long journey, but she was willing to travel it. Because she knew that this was something that worth fighting for. “You are a nice girl wanting to help out a stranger.” Dia knew that she wasn't a stranger, but she knew it would take time to remind her.
