Parental Disapproval (Open)

Kai drug himself out of bed, his hand rubbing his head. It throbbed as an aftermath of what went down last night, causing him to smile. He threw on a plain white t-shirt and a pair of jeans and pulled on his black pair or combat boots. Being May, the sun was finally starting to warm up things meaning he didn't need to pull on his winter coat or hat. Grabbing his broomstick, he strolled out of the dormitory and down to the pitch.

The brightness of the sun made him flinch and close his eyes for a minute, willing the throbbing pain to die back down. He always suffered the day after a night of fun, yet, he just couldn't bring himself to quit. He thought back to the night before and nights before that, thinking about the last girl that he'd slept with. He didn't even get her name but she was hot, probably the hottest one night stand he'd had so far. She had long, dark hair and bright blue eyes and she was slender and able to slip easily into his arms. He knew that if his parents would ever find out about his lifestyle, they would throw a tantrum and say things such as, "We didn't raise you to be this way," and then his mother would burst into tears.

Rolling his eyes at the thought, he continued to the Quidditch Pitch and mounted his broom once there. He began with some simple exercises before beginning some more skilled flying attempts. In his opinion, he was the best flyer one the team and he deserved to be seeker, but he got Chaser, which was equally as good he guessed.

Kai liked the feeling of the wind whipping through his hair as he did a few warm-up laps around Pitch. The outdoors was enough to get his mind of the throbbing headache he had from the night before. Running his fingers through his hair, like he did so frequently, he began weaving in and out of the hoops on one side of the Pitch, twisting upside down and right side up again.

Before long, he found himself on the ground running laps. He wasn't one for cardio much, but he figured a little bit couldn't hurt. Breathing heavily, he hit the ground and did push-ups, followed by sit-ups and a two minute plank. He preferred upper body and core workouts over anything else, as it was what helped him most with being a chaser. Besides, girls found it hard to resist a guy that could pick them up and be confident without a shirt on.

Feeling a bit tired, he decided it was time to take a water break before continuing with his usual workout. From where he was, he could see someone head towards the equipment shed. Ignoring whatever it was he saw, he mounted his broom and flew up to the middle hoop. Carefully, he moved from the broom to the top of the hoop and sat, where he pulled a ribbon out of his pocket and tied his broomstick to the hoop. Just as carefully, he put his hands on either sides of him and swung down into a position where he could do several pull-ups.

As he finished his pull-ups, he pulled himself up and over, one leg hooked over the hoop. Dangling in and almost upside down position, he untied the broomstick, allowing it to once again take his weight.

"You just starting, or just finished?"

The voice sounded familiar, one he'd heard before, quite often actually. Turning his head, he saw a guy, Travis, that he recognised from some of the parties he'd been to. "Just getting started," Kai called back after flying lower so he could be heard.
