She is also the mother of an 11 month old boy named Dean who she became pregnant with when she got drunk and had a one night stand which is totally unlike her.

Salem is a true player, he became that when his parents abandoned him when he found out he was a Wizard and got accepted into Hogwarts. Salem doesn't believe in commitment but he wants to and believes he has found it.
