Annabeth looked around the Great Hall, waiting for it to be filled with students. Although her face was emotionless, her icy blue eyes were beaming with excitement because after all, it was her first year being a teacher. Annabeth has always wanted to be a teacher, ever since she was little. Something about the power, the respect and the implication of fear, was extremely appealing to her.
Therefore, the night before she had been meticulous while picking out her outfit. She finally decided on a white lace dress, the collar going all the way up to her neck and the train reaching the floor. In fact, it almost looked like a wedding dress.
Annabeth's lips curled into a smile when she noticed the door opening, the students crowding. But before anyone could notice, it faded away. Most people don't believe that she's stern based on her golden appearance but today, she wanted to already make a statement. As Daniel got up, ready to give his speech, she looked at him, ready to hear what he has to say.
