Chester Millstone Pictur10

Chester Millstone Rsz_ge10
Full Name: Chester Asher Millstone
Age: 46
Date of birth: April 7, 1980
Birthplace: Los Angeles, USA
Current home: Santa Monica, Los Angeles, USA
Blood Status: Muggleborn
Sexual Alignment: Heterosexual
Wand type: 9 inch, wampus cat hair, tamarack wood -- Chester no longer carries his wand, it is put away safely in his top drawer of his desk at home. Locked.

Chester Millstone Rsz_ap10
Hair colour and style: Dark brown hair that is always kept neatly off Chester's face. It is usually styled lightly with gel when heading in to office, or a function of some kind, but on the days when he doesn't have to give too much care, Chester will simply run a comb through his locks to neaten them.
Eye colour: Light brown.
Height: 6 foot 1
Body type: Chester's body is in great shape. This stems from the appointment of his personal trainer a number of years ago, who has been pushing his limits since day one. Chester is an active person once the work day is finished, and can often be found playing one sport or another, or else in the gym of his extensive home.
Dress sense: Chester's dress sense is, of course, well refined. Having grown up with a vast wealth to his name, it is hardly surprising the suits in his wardrobe are all tailor made for him. Money talks, and you have to look the part. Of course, the suits are for work, in his down time Chester can be found in pants and a polo shirt which nice accentuate the muscles in his arms. Failing that, Chester will be in his gym clothes.
Birthmarks: None.
Tattoos: None.
Scars: A couple from boyhood scuffles, but nothing to write home about.
Piercings: None.

Likes:
  - Dogs -- of the larger variety.
  - Politics.
  - The outdoors.
 - Good ol' America.
 - Guns.
 - Women -- all real men do.
 - The finer things in life -- clothes, dining, bourbon, cigars, whatever springs to mind when you think of the nicer things in life, Chester would probably be drawn to them like a moth to the flame.

Dislikes:
  - Magic. Despite being a wizard, Chester is not fond of using magic, especially with the difficulties surrounding magic in the US that are currently gripping the nation.
  - Democrats.
  - His ex-wife, and gold diggers. So, basically, his ex-wife.

Strengths:
  - Business strategy -- you don't become a CEO of one of the biggest companies in the country (if not the world) without knowing your way around business strategy.
  - Leading teams.
  - Judgement.
 - Honesty

Weaknesses:
  - His daughter -- loathe as he may be to admit having a weakness for a girl, Chester is vastly protective of his daughter, and would kill anyone who tried to harm her.
  - Entitlement. This comes in many forms in Chester's personality.
  - It can be difficult to get to know Chester, he knows much too well how letting people in can lead to a lot of hurt, and when you play with people as much as he does, it isn't always easy to let yourself be real with them.
 - Hates to be wrong.

Positive traits:
  - Charming -- Chester can charm most people to his way of thinking quite easily, and often uses that to his advantage, too.
  - Athletic.
  - Patient.
 - Loyal.
 - Clever.
 - Observant of most things around him, to the point where he can often see things happen before they do.

Negative traits:
  - Arrogant -- Chester comes from old money, and that has always given him the air of being better than most people around him. He isn't sorry for it, though.
  - Domineering. Especially of women, Chester likes to take charge, and often won't take well to others trying to take control from him.
  - Materialistic.
 - Possessive of the women in his life.
 - His ex-wife would denote him as a cold man, but Chester disagrees.

Chester Millstone Rsz_ba10
Chester was the first born child of Flora and Rex Millstone. A boy, a beautiful baby boy, which both pleased Rex in knowing he had an heir to carry on his name, and overjoyed his mother because she'd been secretly praying for the safe arrival of a son to keep her husband happy. Rex was rarely around, truth be told, which left the small boy in the custody of his mother's love more often than not.

Chester was raised in almost exactly the same manner his father had been. Nannies were on hand the moment he cried to help settle him back down. His mother never moved too far away from him in fear something terrible might happen, and his father would display his love from afar.

A year and a half in to Chester's life in this world, his sister Veronica was born. A girl, and very much unwanted by their father. Displeased, Rex had become a little more distant, but Chester didn't really remember much of this time.

The same repeated almost two year's later when Debbie entered the world, causing their father to all but leave the house entirely. Instead hiding off in Utah with his work and rarely coming home.

It wasn't until Chester was almost seven that his father took an interest in him, and started to show the boy how the world was, pushing ideas in to his head of a more traditional world, a world where men were always going to be on top. Rex would often try to talk to Chester about his work -- something the young boy didn't really understand, with the underlying notion that the boy would follow in his footsteps.

This would, perhaps, have been the correct idea, too, had Chester's first feat of magic not shown itself shortly after. The act hadn't been too outrageous, in truth, but to a family of Muggles, who had believed magic was only a slight of hand, a book had spontaneously set alight as Chester struggled through the contents. His father had been stood over him at the time, trying to get him to concentrate, and the magical feat had freaked the older Millstone out. The visit from the officials of MACUSA had helped to explain the situation to Chester's parents, and the boy had seen without really knowing at the time, the horror upon his mother's features that would never, ever fade when she looked at him.

At eleven, Chester received his letter from the Salam Academy of Magic. The boy hadn't wanted to go, really, but his father, always interested in broadening the horizons of his family's opportunities had sent the boy off to the school without another thought. Chester had been sorted in to Nightshade easily, not that he understood what that meant as he hung back from the rest of the children, unsure on how to deal with all the other... oddities that had snuck out from the world.

Salem was... well, the worst seven years of his life, in truth. Chester had grown to his own popularity by chance, pushing people down where he needed to, but really finding the limelight by chance. He had a large group of 'friends', but nobody he could truly trust. Girls were rarely an issue, especially with the crazy parties that seemed to always occur by Nightshade hands. Trouble always seemed to follow Chester and his group of friends, but no major incidences were ever recorded anywhere.

Somehow.

Once Chester had graduated from Salem -- his lack of enthusiasm for magic reflected in the results he'd accumulated -- he'd followed his dad's wishes of heading off to university. Harvard would have awaited the boy if he had any aspirations of following his father in to law, but Chester had always been more interested in business, economics, and math. So, after giving his father the disappointing news he would not be going to Harvard, Chester was packed off to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

After completing his degree in Economics, Chester continued his tuition on to complete his MBA.

It was in his time at the university that Chester joined the fraternity with his other Ivy League brothers. The group spent most of its time hosting boozy nights at one of the large houses their parents had rented out to them, paying girls to come over, and barely remembering the night by the next morning when they woke up drunk on the sofas. How many times they'd done that, Chester would never know, truthfully. He'd tried to count, or keep trophies from the nights, but half the time he'd been way too drunk to know his own name.

Likely it would have continued, too. Except, some girls didn't know how to have fun. And one girl decided to go to the Dean. The fraternity had all been pulled up for their behaviour after the complaint of one girl had led to more girls stepping forwards to suggest the same thing had happened to them. At first, it had been funny, but when the police had gotten involved, and their parents brought in to the picture, Chester quickly realised that their fun had been brought to an end.

To say he'd gotten off Scott free for everything he'd done had been an understatement when he'd left the courtroom after being found not guilty. His father had barely let him out of the courtroom before he'd rounded upon him. The low growl that had come from his father's lips had been enough to make it all clear. Next time you want to act like an idiot, at least make sure you're not leaving a trail. The fury in his eyes had been enough to make the words ingrain on Chester's mind to this day, but he'd followed the advice, ensuring that he never left a trail again.

After graduating from university, Chester returned to his childhood home. Offers from his father's friends' companies came in thick and fast, offering him places in roles he had no experience to take. He'd opted for the position of highest value, though, assistant CFO for a multi-national company. It had been a good place to start his career, and after a few months, he'd settled in well, implementing new strategies that the older men hadn't thought of as he took in the new technological revolution that was sweeping around the world. Pay rises came easily, Chester enjoyed the perks of his job thoroughly, and his bosses rarely had anything to complain about.

It had been whilst in his first job, just shy of a year in to his career, that the mistake had happened. Or, what Chester had believed to be a mistake, at least. Natalie had been his PA at that time. A beautiful young woman, eager to please him, fresh out of college herself, but without the right ladder in the world. She would have to work her way up the ladder to get where she wanted, and Chester... had enjoyed using his power over her. Natalie hadn't seemed to mind his attention, either.

But she'd fallen pregnant.

And he'd been stupid enough to tell his father.

The wedding had been quick, very quick. He and Natalie had been wed only a month later, before the baby bump could show. Natalie had been a beaming bride, whilst Chester hadn't known how he felt about the marriage. Rex Millstone had vowed to teach him a lesson in responsibility seeing as his stint in university hadn't.

Lance had been born six months later, confusing most people. Natalie had given up her career despite always having told Chester she wished to pursue one, and the two had come to an agreement that she could stay at home with their son until he went to school. But as Lance grew to almost be of school age, Natalie fell pregnant again with their daughter, Elizabeth. A coincidence, perhaps, but Chester couldn't be sure.

His efforts were focused elsewhere by this point, his career having moved to a larger corporation and the position of CFO. Much like his father, Chester neglected his home life, in favour of putting his heart and soul in to the businesses he was managing. Natalie grew cold, more distant, until one day, she denoted that Chester had never loved her in an alcohol fuelled argument. Too tired to disagree with the witch, he had told her that she was right, she had been fun in the beginning, but she'd fallen pregnant without his consent, entrapped him for his money, and he'd been a fool to think it would ever work for them.

Natalie had stood looking horrified at him.

No, not at him. Around him.

Looking around him, Chester had realised his temper had grown too much, made the items around the room pulse with magical energy, shake from their place atop shelves before smashing on the floor. Natalie had looked back at him in horror a moment later, before fleeing from the house. From him. Their life.

She'd never come back, Chester had never chased her.

The papers had been signed off for the divorce nine months later, Natalie earning herself a small fortune from the Millstone estate, but not managing to gain custody of the teenage children. The freedom that came was one that was refreshing, and the man didn't hold himself back, either, instead throwing himself back in to his work. CFO turned in to CEO of the company, and Chester had been comfortable.

Until he'd been caught sleeping with the wife of the majority shareholder.

Now, Chester has taken a new job as the CEO of Fox Network, a job that has recently been vacated by Tessa Greene, and one that Chester is more than sure he will flourish in, so long as the board are agreeable.

Rex Millstone was another generation of the Millstone family that got an easy start in life. The silver spoon life style that he was given was not out of place in the most recent history of the family, and nor did it make the apple fall too far from the tree. Life in the Millstone home was as it had always been, lavish and without a lack of help being provided to the mother from her numerous members of staff.

Rex had opted to go to Harvard for his studies. A long way from home, but a necessity for his career in law. Rex had done well for himself whilst he was there, finishing top of his class despite the best efforts of his now wife, Flora. The romance had blossomed whilst Rex was away with his studies, but Flora hadn't been keen on moving away from her home in Massachusetts to follow Rex back down south. To hear Rex tell it over the years would have brought forth a number of different versions of how he had won his wife over, but the common denominator in all of the stories was the ring, and the price he'd spent on it.

After the elaborate engagement, the two had married in front of a full host of family, friends, and colleagues. No expense had been spared at the wedding, and perhaps that had been why the marriage had lasted so long. Rex had always treated his wife to every item money could buy for the witch. He cared for her, but to say he'd loved her would likely have been a push. Despite that, and the countless weeks away from the family home, Rex managed to father three children with Flora to continue the Millstone dynasty, but there are likely numerous bastards lurking in the shadows, too.
