Fireplace and Hot Chocolate (Humphrey)

Cassiopeia had done all her homework for today and now she didn't have much to do. She was currently sitting in the common room and wondering what she should do. She could always go and to do something more productive than looking out of the window.

She barely read any books, only when it was needed for homework but then she didn't even don't want to read but she didn't wanna fail her classes. She had gone outside for a few hours earlier but it was too cold for her. She now was sitting near the fireplace to warm herself up.

She had an even cup of hot chocolate in her hands and was slowly drinking it. She had no idea where her housemates were today. Everyone seemed to be busy and it was just early evening bit time after the dinner. She had eaten it already even. Maybe some people still did eat dinner or came up with some other activity than sitting in common room and doing nothing. She didn't wanna eat much since she wasn't so hungry really. So Cassie was spending some time alone in the empty common room with hot chocolate.

Humphrey had finally finished all his schoolwork in the library and grabbed some dinner before heading back to the common room after a long day. Something about the grey skies and the cold just sapped all the energy out of him and the day had felt extremely long to him. After announcing the password to get into the common room he stepped inside, a little surprised to see Cassiopeia sitting all by herself in front of the fire with only a warm drink for company. Even though they'd hung out at Diagon Alley they hadn't really talked much since, but he figured it was high time to change that.

Setting his books down, he took a seat in his favorite chair and gave her a wave. "Hey Cassie, what are you doing up here all by yourself?" Humphrey asked. He couldn't really blame her for wanting to curl up by the fire with a hot drink, but he knew he'd get lonely if it was only him doing it.

Cassiopeia had fallen into her own thoughts and didn't notice that someone had come to the common room until the person did speak. She looked towards the person and noticed it was Humphrey, the boy who she once did hang around on Diagon Alley.

"Oh, hey, Humphrey. Just spending some time near a fire and drinking hot chocolate. Too cold to go outside and well there wasn't anything else to do. No idea where others are," she said and sighed. She was actually bored but at least some thoughts had kept her company. She had thought of many different things for sure. "So what's you been up to?" she asked back. It was actually nice to talk with someone and have some company, someone who can speak back too. She was really glad that someone had decided to come back to the common room. She was getting bored already.
