Care of Magical Creatures - Lesson Two (All Years)

One thing Odysseas was happy to see, was that his students were not dumb. At least... most of them. The majority of the people that attended his class were actually interested in the Creatures, and happened to know a thing or two, about the creatures the man was bringing to class. This time was no surprise as well. Bowtruckles were amazing creatures, and even though they were hard to find, his students seemed to recognise Noah as one, and that made the older wizard happy.

The first one to speak up and answer his question was a Slytherin girl. Odysseas recognised her from last lesson and gave her a big smile. She seemed to share his interest for creatures, and that was something that made the Grecian quite happy. Although, the answer was somewhat correct. Miss Bliss had correctly named the creature as a Bowtruckle, but the information about them being vastly harmful to humans was false. No creature, or at least most of them, are harmful, unless provoked, and Noah, as well as Elina, were proof of that much. "A good answer, Miss Bliss, though I have to correct you on something. Bowtruckles will not hurt you, unless you threaten them in any way. They are friendly creatures. Nonetheless, take 10 points for your answer."

Before the man could speak. though, another Slytherin decided to speak up, an give a... Odysseas did not even know what that answer was, and it had taken everything to keep a straight face at that. The man liked children, but he did not do well with stupidity. And the Harrington girl kept showing over and over again, that she was obviously not thinking through whatever she decided to say. During his first lesson, Odysseas had tried to be polite and tell her in a nice way, that what she had said was not accurate. But now...

"Miss Harrington, I would prefer it, if you refrained from speaking the first thing that popped up in your head. We are not here to joke around, we are here to learn, and unless you know something about the subject, you better remain silent. Ten points from Slytherin." Shaking his head at the young witch, Odysseas turned his eyes away, taking a deep inhale to calm his nerves. His did not want to take points away from anyone, but that girl was simply making fun of his lesson!

The voice of Elenore Clement broke the awkward silence that had been created after Odysseas' sharp words to the young Slytherin witch. Thankfully, the Hufflepuff witch offered, once again, a correct answer, calming the Professor's nerves and earning herself a small smile of happiness. Not everyone was stupid, and Odysseas was beyond glad about it. [color=khaki]"Yes, Miss Clement. That is one hundred percent correct. Ten points to Hufflepuff."

Taking a deep breath, the Professor turned his eyes away from the Clement Princess and towards the rest of the class. "I don't want to keep you out here, in the cold, much longer. Therefore, I am closing the class here. Off you go." The older wizard waved his hands dismissively at them, freeing them --and himself-- from the tormenting cold. Plus, he did not have the patient to hear another one of Miss Harrington's useless comments.
