Killing Time [Milo] Empty
PostSubject: Killing Time [Milo]   Killing Time [Milo] EmptyMon Jan 18, 2016 4:38 pm

It was that time of the day, when Sapphire Vine just felt as if she was dying. No homework to work on, the Quidditch Pitch was taken by another team, which meant she could not go and play, and that left her with practically nothing to do. Amethyst would have insisted on visiting the Library to read a few books. Because books were always something that Amethyst enjoyed. But that was not what Sapphire wanted to do. Not now, and possibly not in the near future either.

So instead, she decided it was about time she visited one of the least popular places in Hogwarts. A place she had visited once before, and that she had completely forgotten about. Until now, that is. And as the girl was chilling in the Gryffindor Common Room, a smile touched her lips.

Getting up, the blonde went to her dorm and got dressed in a pair of jeans, a nice button up dark blue shirt, and her sneakers, tying her hair up in a messy bun as she began descending the stairs rather quickly. Exiting the Common Room in a blink, she made her way down the Seventh Floor Halls, looking around in hopes of spotting anyone that might have followed her. No one seemed to have followed her though, which made the job much easier. Less things to work with.

Arriving at the place where the door appeared last time, Sapphire closed her eyes and thought really really hard. What was she in need of, really? A Quidditch Pitch? No, no that would be extreme and she was not really dressed for that either. Also, no books. That would be devastating. Sighing, the Gryffindor witch finally made her wish.

The door appeared and Sapphire quickly moved towards it, slipping inside the room and smiling at what she came to see.
A pub. It looked exactly like a dark lit bar. It had drinks, music-which she could change with a thought-, and Sapphire let out a giggle at that. This was it. Now, she only had to create an imaginary boyfriend and also friends. But no, she wouldn't. Ever.

Killing Time [Milo] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Killing Time [Milo]   Killing Time [Milo] EmptyTue Jan 19, 2016 5:46 am

Milo had been having one of those days to where the entire world was annoying him. Nothing seemed to be going right, and he was kind of pissed off about it. Sitting in the library he ran a hand threw his short brown hair. These NEWTs where getting frustrating, and he was about to toss his potions book at the professor to see how he liked it, because that's what reading all of this useless information felt like. With a frustrated grunt, Milo angrily sat the book on the table, earning an angry glare from the librarian. He gave her the best "I don't care" look he could manage, and stormed away from the library. He had been there for more than half of the day, and he was about done.

Milo was deciding where to go next. The common room would be too busy to go to, as people where in study groups, and just hanging out. The Quidditch pitch was out as well, as he had checked this morning and it was booked, so Milo could only think of one place to go to at a time like this. He had only just remembered it. He had found it in his second year, and had spent most of his time there, but had forgotten about it because classes and school suddenly got interesting. He made his way to the seventh floor, and found the wall.

It wasn't just any wall. The wall held a room that could be anything one imagined. It could be a place of comfort, a place of learning, or a place that reminded one of home. It could be literally anything, and one just had to think it. But this time, when he opened the room, it wasn't what he thought it would be. It was a musky bar. Meaning that somebody had compromised his secret place. And that made him even angrier. He saw a girl. Not just any girl, the prettiest one he had ever seen. She looked to be about his year, he wasn't sure what house, because she wasn't in uniform which was absurd. Milo liked order, and this was not order.

He yelled over the music, "HEY!" It may have sounded harsh, but he didn't care. This was his spot, and he didn't want any females taking it over. He had to set the rules once and for all. He said, "This is my spot, and you can't be in it." He crossed his arms to show his frustration. He was looking for a perfect way to end this day, and this was less than perfect. It was obscene.

Killing Time [Milo] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Killing Time [Milo]   Killing Time [Milo] EmptyTue Jan 19, 2016 8:32 pm

Sapphire was in her own world. It had been a long time since she had last visited this place. She remembered when she was younger, and she used to come here in order to stay alone, spend some time having fun without being interrupted or worried about anything. It was some time she was spending with herself, and truth be told, she was missing that time.

But a voice broke her thoughts. And Sapphire almost jumped out of her skin as she turned around and saw a boy standing there. She immediately stopped in her tracks. She had not though about a boy, had she? She was positively sure her mind did not wander off to thinking about boys, so the room couldn't create one. Right?

"This is my spot, and you can't be in it."

Definitely not created by the room.., she thought and huffed as the guy crossed his arms over his chest. He seemed frustrated, and Sapphire wanted to punch him in the face. She had never met this guy, but he seemed arrogant, idiotic, and exactly the type of boy she would like to punch, but kiss at the same time. It was hard to decide which one appealed the most to her at that point.

Walking over to him, she allowed her eyes to wander over him, in search of a house. And her eyes soon landed on a snake, which brought a big scowl on the girl's face. Slytherins. Despicable, arrogant and proud brats. Sapphire just stayed away from them. Until she had to play against them in Quidditch. Then she made sure they lost. Always.

"Well, I'm sorry," she said, sarcasm dripping off her every word, "But I couldn't care less about what you want. This place is not yours, and it's not mine either. But I happen to have come here first, so you better take your arrogant ass out of here, and back to the dungeons where it deserves to be."

No one wanted to mess with Sapphire Vine.

Killing Time [Milo] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Killing Time [Milo]   Killing Time [Milo] EmptyFri Jan 22, 2016 7:42 am

Normally Milo was used to girls hitting on him, and thinking he was "sexy" or something. Which he totally was not. Okay, in some ways, Milo totally thought he was sexy, and smart and cute, but this girl, reacted totally different than the rest of the girls who graced themselves with his presence, and that made her seem ten times more desirable than the rest. At that moment, his attitude towards her stealing his secret place completely changed. He was totally okay with it as long as it was just her and she didn't bring any guy friends around to ruin the secret.

He said, "Milo, Milo Lawson the third." He liked to emphasize the third mainly because it made him sound cool and important. And girls liked cool and important. He said, "Sorry about before. I was blinded by your beauty." He knew it was cheesy, but he hoped it would calm her down. He wasn't used to fiery girls like her. He liked the ones who just swooned at his feet, and the ones he didn't have to make an effort to get. But in all fairness, Milo wasn't the player he pretended to be.

He just liked to use his name for attention. His good looks where just a bonus. He rolled her eyes at her Slytherin dis. Gryffindor probably by the sound of it. He added, "Excuse you missy. I have every right to be here than you. Gryffindor right? Go hide behind your fat lady and get a life." It wasn't the best comeback he could muster, but he was put on the spot, and that was the best he could do. He just hoped that the girl changed her mind about him and they could be friends, and not children.

"Milo, Milo Lawson the third."

That made the blonde snort as she took a good look at him. He was another proud little snake, with his good looks and all, waiting for another victim to fall into his trap. Sapphire was not buying it, and on the contrary, it made her sick.

"Sorry about before. I was blinded by your beauty."

What?
Sapphire started laughing so hard, that it started hurting her stomach. She folded in two, laughing even harder and trying with no success to pull herself together. He must be kidding if he thought that she would fall for something like that. This was way too cheesy for the Gryffindor.
Finally, pulling herself together, Sapphire calmed herself down and looked up at him with amusement.

"Look here, Milo the Third, or whatever your name is, your flattering words won't be of any use with me. I am not like the other girls that might be falling at your feet. So keep the fake compliments to yourself."
Her father had taught her that the best weapon was honesty, and she would follow that advice.

But as she expected, he had an answer for that and it didn't take him long to reveal it.

"Excuse you missy. I have every right to be here than you. Gryffindor right? Go hide behind your fat lady and get a life."

He did have a point on the fact that he too could be here, but Sapphire was not going to let him do that. She liked this place and she wouldn't allow him to spoil it.
"Oh please, I should get a life? I doubt it is me who lurks in dungeons like a lowlife insect."

She was a tough one, he had to give her that.

Killing Time [Milo] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Killing Time [Milo]   Killing Time [Milo] EmptyTue Jan 26, 2016 7:25 am

Milo tried being nice. Milo tried being flirty. He wasn't sure what this chick wanted, but it sure wasn't his presence and Milo was insulted at the fact. He replied, "For the record. My compliments are never fake." He winked at her. He wasn't trying to get any. He wasn't really into that shit yet. In fact, sex kind of freaked him out. He was merely trying to be friendly. And she had taken it completely the wrong way. Which was also insulting. He wasn't a player, or a manwhore. He was Milo.

In Milo's head, he was just a boy still trying to figure out his place in life. He knew for a fact that he liked girls, that much was certain as he couldn't help but look at this beautiful creature standing before him without the butterflies in his stomach fluttering to know end. But of course, he wouldn't admit it to anyone, especially her with her attitude. She didn't deserve his affection or attention.

So just to piss her off, he pulled up a chair and sat down in it and made himself comfortable. He would make her life miserable. It would be fun. Well, for him it would be fun. He knew eventually he would win her over. He just had to figure her out first. Right now, he could tell that she was feisty, and stubborn. Typical Gryffindor material. And with that in mind, he knew she wouldn't go down without a fight. So he just had to fight fire with fire, and in the end she would end up getting burned. The fun part of the game, would be watching and seeing it happen and watching her pretty face go down.
