PostSubject: Care of Magical Creatures: Lesson Three - Crups   Wed Mar 02, 2016 6:57 pm

With the last lesson here, Daniel had opted for something a little more relaxing than that of the Salamanders he'd brought last time. Fire, whilst nice in the cold air of winter, was dangerous, and Daniel knew exams were near. So he had opted for something more relaxing, and a lot less dangerous.

Crups.

Currently, Daniel was sat in a small pen, being cuddled by five small animals that looked like puppies. The only real distinction between these small creatures and normal puppies were the fact their tails were forked rather than singular. They were cute enough, Daniel knew could make that much from what he'd seen so far.

Except that, at this young age, they were in their chewing stage. Which was precisely what one of the small animals was doing to the bottom of his trousers, gnawing and pulling at the material in a playful manner.

Hopefully, the students would enjoy a relax with the creatures, though Daniel couldn't be sure.

Stephen was glad to be early for Care of Magical Creatures. Though the animals Professor Jameson brought never failed to make Stephen happy, he was glad to see that this time they would be taking care of crups. Since he was never allowed to keep pets back in South Korea, Stephen often made do with the creatures witches and wizards brought and walked around wizarding Seoul. Now that they would be learning about magical puppies for today's class, Stephen couldn't control his excitement. With a grin, he walked towards Professor Jameson.

'Oh, baby crups! May I pet them?' As much as he just wanted to kneel down and hug the cute little things, he wasn't sure how to handle baby crups. The crups he had encountered in Korea were older and trained to behave properly, thus making it easier for Stephen to just walk up to them and pet them as the owners watched with a smile.

Today on the least surprising thing happening at Care of Magical Creatures: a Hufflepuff had fallen head over heels for the puppies. Or were they actually puppies? Gabrielle wasn't sure, since the creatures had a forked tail, which just didn't go with their cutesy faces. Then again, maybe the forked tail was actually a sign that the puppy-things were quite harmless. One thing Gabrielle had learned from this class was that the more innocent something looked, the deadlier it probably was.

She rolled her eyes and took a step closer towards the professor, though she kept a wary distance. At the very least, they seemed to be friendly towards the professor. Then again, all these creatures were so bloody friendly towards him, and she was starting to wonder if the professor was actually a Pokémon trainer who planeswalked his way into this dimension. Frustrated with herself for forgetting to do advanced reading, she smiled at the professor and greeted him. 'Good morning, Professor.'

Leaving it at that, she walked away and pretended to be preoccupied with some book about Merlin. She did not want people to think that she of all people did not know what on earth those devil puppies were.

Christopher - much to his sisters' disgust - loved getting dirty. He was a boy, he was made to get in the mud and have fun, but apparently that was unbecoming of a Pureblood man. Christopher had told them where to put that idea - though, of course, his phrasing of that had been perfect. Unflawed, but not accepted very well.

Which was half the reason he took Care of Magical Creatures because he knew he would get some time away from his siblings because they didn't wish to get themselves dirty. Funny creatures, his sisters.

However, upon arriving at the class for Care of Magical Creatures, Christopher was a little disappointed. Crups? What were they, ten? Puppies were not exciting, even the magical kind, and the pups? Chris screwed his nose up at them, noticing a Hufflepuff simply wanting to jump in there with them.

Typical Hufflepuff, no back bone. Christopher thought to himself as he waited by the edge of the pen for some idea of what they were going to have to do.

Care of Magical Creatures was, by far, one of her favourite subjects - right alongside Charms, and Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Transfiguration. Oh, and of course, Flying. Yea. Anything, really, that involved magic spells. She did not, however, like potions. Nope. That was one subject she could never do well.

But it wasn't time for potions, and so she was happy.

Winter was giving way to Spring, and it was beautiful. Everything was becoming new, and it was hopeful, like the start of a new day. Things that had gone to sleep during winter would be waking up, and she wondered if they felt the same way she did after a long nap - slightly sleepy, but excited for the new day.

Skipping over to the paddock, she couldn't help but let out a squeal of delight when she saw the cute puppies there. "Oh!" she cried, then realised the Professor was there. "Hi, Professor. They're so cute!"

Hearing the Hufflepuff speak, her eyes went wide. "Oh, we can? Can we, Professor? They're so cute." She turned to the boy. "Hi! I'm Kayleigh!"

Elenore was doing well in her studies, as was expected of her. She was matching Jacques scores on tests, but never spoke of the times that she surpassed his results. Elenore knew well enough that her brother did not like to know she was more clever than he was. He had an image to protect.

But Elenore knew, and secretly enjoyed the feeling of outdoing her brother.

Sibling rivalry was natural, of course.

Which was why Elenore was stepping out in to the grounds on the way to Care of Magical Creatures. She loved animals, and despite the fact she was likely to get dirty, Elenore enjoyed the class. She preferred the more ruthless animals, truth be told, which was why she was a little disappointed when she turned up to find out that they would be covering Crups. Her father had a licence for crups, so they were not a new animal to her. Cute, yes, but not interesting in a manner the witch had hoped for.

Staying at the edge of the pen, Elenore didn't ask to join, she knew how soft they would be, and how you had to keep on eye on them so they didn't shred your clothes. This was a waste of time, but she would not allow her name to be tarnished by not turning up to the lesson.

Tristan had made his way to Care for Magical Creatures and wondered what he would be learning since he needed to go to these types of classes. Than soon he looked and he realized that now he would be able to keep his grades up or well get them up.

Since nothing is worse than when a CEO's son does horrible in school and ruins his chances of having the family business. Than soon Tristan looked around and he had went over to the class and he saw they learning about crups.

Then soon Tristan had walked over to see the crups and he looked at the creatures and he smiled and he said to the professor. " This are pretty cool looking Professor. " smiled Tristan with a grin.

Tristan soon looked and he said. " I am Tristan by the way Professor. " smiled Tristan with a grin. Than soon he looked around and wondered what else they would learn.

Ryder had made his way to Care for Magical Creatures with reluctance since he despised his classes even though he had thought that he probably would not have caused anything good if he did not go to his classes only getting himself a detention or whatever. Since he knew if his uncle was here he would be flipping even though his uncle loved him and was his role model.

Since he had pretty much been his father for eleven years and raised him and his sister with his Aunt Jenifer who had both been parents to them and raised them as there own since his sister and himself since they were babies.

His behavior would also probably get him getting flipped out on by his aunt on not focusing on his studies. Than soon he had made it to the class and he watched as the professor had these puppy looking creature, he had always wanted a dog ever since was younger.

Than soon he looked around and listened as it was said they were crups and he saw they looked really cute and he smiled and he wondered what trouble they could cause.

Ryder soon looked around and wondered.

Lux made her way out of the school building and into the outdoors. The only thing she appreciated about this particular class was that it didn't coop her up in a classroom. Still, it didn't make up for the fact that she found this one of the more boring classes she had to take. It would be fun if they learned about more...interesting animals but it always had to be the safe, cute kinds which Lux found entirely too annoying.

Case in point. They were learning about puppies today. As if unicorns weren't enough, the professor had to shove another species of cute, fluffy...nice animals down their throat. What a horrific way to celebrate the last class of the year. Perhaps the only redeeming quality of the crups was their tendency of aggression towards Muggles. They weren't completely nice but they were close enough which was all Lux needed to hate them.

"Too bad unicorns aren't around to stomp their guts out," Lux said under her breath as she stood behind the group already gathered. She meant it as a joke, knowing that a unicorn was probably too disgustingly pure and good to ever harm another animal except maybe in self defense.

Jacques had been relatively lazy with classes this year. Though, his home tutor had taught him most of the curriculum back home over the summer. Hogwarts was just... an opportunity to make connections. Jacques was making connections in his own time, and was currently dealing with an overly fond Eloise who had not left him alone since the Christmas Ball.

Straightening his robes once more, Jacques slipped in to the grounds of the school and down towards the meeting point of the Care of Magical Creatures class. He wasn't overly fond of the class, truth be told, but there was very little he could do since he had opted to take all electives, despite the Headmaster's concerns.

Arriving at the scene of the class, Jacques' face turned up in disgust. Crups. The only thing that could make this lesson worse was if Eloise turned up. Or Ellie. Or both.

Magical or not, animals were not particularly interesting in Lyra's eyes. It wasn't that she had anything against them—regarding animals, she had no opinion at all. She had never wanted pets, and whenever she visited a friend's house, she found it ridiculous how her friends would obsess over their pets. She supposed it was similar to the way she was passionate about ballet and music, except with animals, you couldn't really control them or make art out of them. So she stayed away from animals most of the time, and animals got out of her way as well.

She had signed up for Care of Magical Creatures mostly out of a desire to have an impressive CV by the end of her Hogwarts life. She had considered taking up all of the elective classes, but the Head of Ravenclaw warned her about how difficult it can get on her health. Deciding not to risk it until she has gotten used to life at Hogwarts, she chose the class since it fit her schedule perfectly. Now, though, she was starting to wonder if maybe she should have stuck with Muggle Studies, even if it made no sense for a muggleborn to take such a class.

The puppies in the pen were adorable, sure, but Lyra normally didn't trust appearances. Adorable things, especially, were the most suspicious. She wondered just what these crups were capable of, and whether they were a lot more impish than they looked. After greeting the professor, she stayed away from the pen, keeping her expression cool and serene.

Nirek had been pretty quiet for the year. Life was simply going along with the tide and very little was bothering the Gryffindor at the moment. His grades were as average as always, and Nirek was doing very little to change that, really. His focus had some direction though. He'd noted the rumours going around the school of a certain Ravenclaw now dating Madison Bishop, and he had to do something about this.

Especially as the Slytherin had told him Finley was only a game.

Scowling as he moved in and amongst the crowd of the Care of Magical Creatures class, Nirek's mood was not improved at the sight of crups. "Really?" Nirek asked the professor before thinking about it, his disgust at the lesson quite clear on his features in that moment. This was not going to be a fun lesson, it would seem.

Though Stephen was surprised to be approached so directly by someone, he was pleased to meet someone as into crups (or animals in general) as he was. He supposed such confidence should be expected from Gryffindors, who were often the most mischievous students in Hogwarts. Gryffindors often intimidated him, since he could never be as brazen as them, so he had never really gathered the courage to make friends with them. Besides, he figured that the Gryffindors saw him as just another Hufflepuff. It then really pleased him to have a Gryffindor be so friendly towards him.

He smiled shyly at the girl. 'Hi, I'm Stephen. It's a pleasure to meet you, Kayleigh.' Stephen envied how she could speak so easily even to her upperclassmen, whereas he was sometimes so reluctant to speak to people his age. Uncertain whether they were allowed to touch the crups just yet, he looked back at Professor Jameson and waited for his answer.

As a large amount of students turned up to the class, Daniel smiled to himself. It was always better when more students turned up, made the class seem a little bit more worthwhile. The first student to turn up seemed quite interested in the class too, which was always a bonus.

'Oh, baby crups! May I pet them?'

"You may, step over the pen, and you can pet the little ones. Just be mindful of their teeth, though, they're very sharp at this age. Though, not highly dangerous." Daniel explained to the Hufflepuff, waving him in to the pen.

Daniel only acknowledged the next student who spoke, again waving her in to the pen with the Hufflepuff, she would have heard his warning, and it was up to the students to heed it if they were to enjoy the class.

Waiting for the last of the stragglers to turn up, Daniel got up from where he was sat, depositing the small creatures back on to the ground, and stepping out of the pen. "Morning everyone. Today we will be working with crups. They're only really harmful to Muggles, but don't be fooled by their cuteness. Feel free to get in the pen with them, pet them, and get to see the animals up close. Also, there are some brushes just here to give their coat a good brush through too, they seemed to have been fighting earlier, so they're all ruffled.

"Also, we have some claw files, just to take the points of of them so they don't hurt one another. Work in groups, for that'll be easier. Oh - and don't forget to take some notes, because they will come up in exams, I'm sure!"

PostSubject: Re: Care of Magical Creatures: Lesson Three - Crups   Sat Mar 12, 2016 11:34 am

Alberi had almost forgotten that Care of Magical Creatures tended to be in the outdoors. And not just in the outdoors but in the bloody forest. At least, for now they have been. So, Alberi took his backpack, only taking the materials needed for this lesson. It wasn't that he would really need them, as the teachers usually didn't tell them to write things down but rather, they explained everything and then let the students try and do what they explained. Rather, he took his backpack for protection in case a creature decided that it should tackle him. Honestly, he didn't really know what he could actually do with a half empty backpack but he did not want in any way to repeat what had happened in his first year. It was enough when it happened the first time...

And so, he set off towards the forest. He usually picked a path that had less sticks and rocks, as to not trip over them. After all, if there was anywhere where Alberi had absolutely no talent, it would be in sports. Well, with the exception of chess. He was amazing with chess and overall board games that relied on the mind and not on one's luck (though he had won a few times in such games as well simply because he planned ahead). But, to his discontent, the walk through the woods were nothing like chess.

However, a distance before he was entering (probably about 20 meters), he noticed that there was a pen. And near that pen where people. 'Don't tell me that the lesson is over there' he thought, before he sighed and turned on his heels, no walking towards the pen. 'And I'll certainly be late...' he thought again. Not that he cared, he just hoped that he wouldn't get any form of detention. After all, he didn't have time for such a thing, there were things he needed to study.

Though, then again, he doubted anyone would make a problem if he decided to study in detention.

Shaking the thoughts out of his mind, he kept his gaze on the pen. What were they going to study? Probably something domestic, considering the place. Alberi highly doubted that they would study something dangerous right in the open, while being next to the school. That just wasn't how the teachers saw it, though Alberi considered it would be better to study in the open. Though the forest gives a place to hide, here you can actually defend yourself while having a clear eye of the assault. Plus, you'd probably go out of the forest in the end anyway, it doesn't go on forever.

When he was near enough, he noticed what they would be studying. Crups. Probably the most boring animals in the existent of the Wizarding world. The literally were dogs that had a spiked tail. And even that tail was taken from them at the age of 6 weeks, 8 at most. And they could eat anything, though most dogs could do that, really. At least, in Alberi's eyes.

What surprised him was the teacher, however. Last time he had been to this class, it was a woman. Now it was definitely not her. Instead, it was the headmaster. 'Does this teach everything...' Alberi thought, remembering last year when they studied with him in Defence Against the Dark Arts. And now he was here?

Shrugging it off, he listened to what the heamaster had to say. Happily, Alberi managed to catch his speech, so at least he wasn't amazingly late. They will be going... in the pen... Suddenly Alberi noticed just how much they looked like dogs. Does he really have to enter with them... Deciding to take up the offer on taking notes, Alberi quickly reached into his backpack and pulled out his quill and a piece of parchment. Instead of entering the pen, he examined what the other people did with the things and how they reacted, writing it down later. That way, he was technically still contributing to class without actually getting his hands dirty, so to speak.

Tristan had watched as Professor Jameson let a Hufflepuff step over and pet the crups. Which had Tristan wondered if he could, since the Slytherin had always liked to touch things. Then soon Tristan listened as Professor Jameson said his opening speech once again and he rolled his eyes since the stragglers should have gotten there much earlier.

Soon Tristan listened as Professor Jameson mentioned claw files, and how they could just take the points of them so they do not hurt each other which had Tristan smirked under his breath and before he knew it Tristan had listened as Professor Jameson told them to work in groups, so it would be much easier, which caused Tristan to roll his eyes since it was always hard to find groups.

Then soon Tristan had listened as the professor mentioned taking notes since the exams were coming up, and Tristan took that into count since he wanted to do well on exams and not lose his spot as becoming heir to the family company.

Ryder had enjoyed wondering and soon before he knew it that was not happening. The eleven year old had known he was slacking and he watched as Professor Jameson let students pet the crups which made Ryder simply roll his eyes. Even though they were cute and as was said they had attacked muggles, and he had began to if they did the same to muggleborns.

Then soon Ryder wondered if maybe they would attack his biological mother since he loved having pranks done on his family members even though he never met her. Soon the eleven year looked around with a smirk wondered if he could cause some sort of trouble.

Ryder listened as Professor Jameson had mentioned claw files, which meant they would take the points so they do not hurt each other, than where was the fun since animals fighting were always fun to watch and he listened as Professor Jameson mentioned them working in groups which in Ryder's mind meant free ticket to talking to people and meeting new people instead of actually listening in class.

Then the most boring word had been said by Professor Jameson which was taking notes since exams were near which had Ryder roll his eyes since he knew he was not gonna take notes since the exams were the last thing on his eleven year old mind all he cared about was having some source of fun.

"On a scale from one to ten, how late am I?" Anya asked as she rushed over to wear the class was gather. If it was not already bad enough that she was starting lessons on the last class, now she was most likely late to the class that she had been the most excited for. She had always been fond of animals, though she had only ever had one pet and it was a goldfish. As she looked around the class, she saw some students playing with puppies.

As she walked closer, she saw that the puppies were not quite puppies. The creatures had forked tails, which puppies did not have. Upon further thought, she wondered if these were crups. She remembered reading about crups in a book one time, but she had never actually seen them.

"Well aren't you cute?" She said to one of the creatures. The crup jumped up and down, as if telling her to pick him up.

Anya gently petted the crup. Its fur was extremely soft and it felt nice on the back of her hand.

Lux half-listened as the professor droned one about what they were supposed to do. The last thing Lux ever expected to do was groom the animals. Seriously, did Professor Jameson think they were studying to be pet groomers? Sure, the easily excitable younger years might enjoy petting and grooming those ridiculous animals but she had expected to learn something with more...substance. Anybody could run a brush through a dog.

Sighing, Lux didn't bother hiding her expression of disgust and boredom. Professor Jameson had asked them to pair up but Lux didn't give rat's pee about obeying that particular instruction. Having to suffer through grooming dogs was bad enough without having to tolerate the other students and their nonsensical love for the animals.

She took up a brush and claw file then let herself into the pen, resisting the overpowering urge to acquaint the crups with the heel of her foot and make pancake of it with the ground. She selected the tiniest one and picked it up none to gently before running the brush through its fur, not bothering to be tender with the tangles and disregarding the jerks the crup gave every time the brush went through a particularly knotted spot. At least it had the decency to keep it's whimpers at a low volume.

When she was done with the brush she took each paw in turn and began clipping and filing off the nail. She had to give it a few spanks here and there as it refused to stay still. After the fourth particularly hard spank, however, it learned its lesson and endured the rest of the grooming in silence and stillness. Why it moved so much Lux had no idea. It wasn't like clipping the nails would hurt it - she knew it didn't. It was only painful if she clipped of too much nail which she wasn't doing.

She didn't know what kind of notes Professor Jameson expected them to take. There wasn't much to know about them except for the fact that they ate almost anything and were aggressive towards Muggles.

To every one else, Luke was late.

But, in the words of Gandalf, a wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.

The idea of this ever coming true to Luke had been a million miles away until he had turned eleven, and then he'd found out he was in fact a wizard. True to form, Luke used this excuse to his advantage - why wouldn't you.

Which was precisely why he walked in to the Care of Magical Creatures lesson without apologising for his lateness. His eyes found the professor for a moment and then turned to the crups before him. Not best amused, but not showing this, Luke's eyes moved to the witch who was standing away from everyone, in a blue tie. Lyra.

Shooting her a dark look from across the pen, Luke moved on, watching the others working. He didn't wish to get involved, so instead he pulled out his notebook from his bag and began to scribble notes down instead.

Upon hearing about the claw files, Stephen immediately turned to Kayleigh. Softly, he asked, 'Would you like to work together?' Since he normally turned to fellow Hufflepuffs whenever there was a group activity in their classes, Stephen had never really worked with someone who wasn't from his House before. Perhaps it would be an interesting experience. Besides, if Kayleigh did like crups as much as Stephen did, then they would have an easier time filing the crups' claws.

He stepped into the pen and picked up a brush and a claw file. He was particularly excited to brush the crups' hair. Filing their claws seemed like it could cause some trouble, especially if the crups' teeth were very sharp at this age. Brushing their fur, though, shouldn't be a problem.

Eagerly, he crouched down and reached to pet a crup, who was looking up at him with large, twinkling eyes. Stephen smiled back and had to stop himself from picking up the crup and squeezing it tight. Calmly, he began to brush the crup's fur. He clicked his tongue at the crup. 'Look at you, you little imp,' he scolded playfully, 'fighting with your brothers and messing up your fur.'

Lyra felt as if she were being watched. It was a while before she noticed her brother Luke, and when she finally did, he wasn't looking at her but scribbling on that notebook he often carried around. She wanted to walk over to him and say hi, but she knew not to disturb him every time he was either working or in class. When her brother did not look up, she looked away and searched her satchel for a black Moleskine notebook.

She observed the crups from afar, noting down how they interacted and what behaviour they best responded to. She watched as a Hufflepuff knelt down to pet a crup, and waited to see if the crup would be tame or wild in reaction to being touched. Though she knew that she couldn't handle crups, observation was at least something she was good at, and so she made it a point to write down even seemingly unnecessary details on her notebook.

What was the point of being an artist, after all, if one did not do their best to observe life?

She envied the Ravenclaws who had drawing skills and wished she had them as well. With drawings, she'd be able to take better notes. She'll just have to borrow some books later for future reference regarding their physical appearance, and hope that her observations would be enough for the upcoming exams. She needed full marks on all of her courses, after all.

When Elleon first spotted the animal they would be studying for the day, he'd been puzzled. Why would they study dogs? To his knowledge, dogs were non-magical creatures. It wasn't until he spotted their tails that he knew they weren't exactly dogs. What he didn't know was what they were called but he was pretty sure there was no sign for whatever it was. Since coming to this school, he and Jelena had to create their own signs for what they learned since British Sign Language didn't have words for a lot of wizarding things.

"Aren't they cute?" he signed to Jelena.

"Yep. Totally. I wonder if we'll be allowed to touch them," she signed back.

Elleon just smiled and shrugged. We'll see.

He was so absorbed at watching the animals that he would've completely missed the professor talking if Jelena hadn't tapped his shoulder and started interpreting. Oh, so these animals were called crups. The both of them would have to come up for a sign for that so they wouldn't have to keep spelling it out. His heart sank a little when the professor asked them to work in groups. At least it wasn't as bad as actually speaking out a spell and seeing himself fail because he couldn't say it clearly enough or pronounce it right.

He glanced around and noticed a boy from the same house as him approaching a girl, also of the same house. He pointed them out to Jelena and waited for her nod before walking up to them.

"May we join you?" he signed to them, knowing Jelena would interpret for him.

He grabbed a brush and picked up one of the crups gingerly, trying his best to avoid their teeth. This particular one was rather playful and it was a struggle to keep the animal still enough to get the tangles out. It would definitely take more than one person to file their claws if they were this active and restless.

As he worked, he took mental notes of their behaviour, mannerisms and looks. Being Deaf gave him the advantage of being extra observant, especially to behavioural patterns, and it wasn't a struggle to figure out the characteristics of the crups. All he needed to do was to read up that particular chapter in his textbook in case he missed anything and he was good to go.[/i]

Jacques had very little interest in this lesson, but he didn't leave. Professor Jameson, being headmaster, would definitely not take kindly to such a thing. And whilst he didn't care for the Headmaster's opinion on him, Jacques didn't wish to be scalded by his mother when he arrived home for the holidays.

So, he instead moved around to a small group of Hufflepuffs. They might not be good at dueling, but they were good at this crap.

'Look at you, you little imp,' he scolded playfully, 'fighting with your brothers and messing up your fur.'

"It's not a baby." Jacques said sourly from behind the boy who had spoken. "Just brush its fur like you were told to." He added, moving to stand between the boy and the Headmaster so that his own lack of work would not be spotted easily. Jacques was not the kind of person who enjoyed animals, so this task was not one he was likely to help with, but he was... guiding. Yes, that was what he was doing.

Stuffing a snack bar in her mouth, Aurelia tried to tackle the task of ridding her favorite beanie hat of black cat fur while running across the grounds towards class. She'd woken up late and had barely had her wits about her enough to remember a light jacket and her hat. While many students were embracing the May weather with just their shirt and tie's, the Wisconsin born pre-teen always came prepared with layers. Just in case, she chimed to herself.

Luckily, she wasn't too late, as she caught the tail end of Prof. Jameson's instructions. As usual, there was a varying degree of interest among the other students, no matter what house they were in. Even though it was her second year, this still surprised, and delighted, the Ravenclaw. Her father had taught her about the houses when they'd moved to Ireland when she was young, and William had mentioned things here and there. The curious side of Aurelia was always intrigued to notice differences in the students from what was expected.

As the others paired off in groups, or chose to stand on the sidelines, Aurelia made her way over the professor. Besides the fact that he was the Headmaster, the man also happened to teach her favorite class. So, she couldn't help but enjoy him as a professor.

"Good morning, sorry I'm a bit late," her smile was an easy one, not of over confidence, but of genuine happiness. "I actually wanted to ask, do you know if there's any theories as to why Crups don't like muggles?" Her father had treated quite a few at the clinic he and her mother ran, but he'd never been able to give the young witch a good answer.
