Scarlett had an unhappy childhood. She was abused by her father and used in many ways. Her father would ignore and neglect. He would sometimes hit her which has caused trauma for Scarlett in her later years. Because of all the abuse in her past, She grew up afraid of men and of adults in general. She was always afraid until she turned 9. Thats when her powers came out and she felt like she could finally stand up for herself against others, including her father, especially her father. The fact that she had powers built a new bravery in her that she needed to boost her confidence. One day, she was being abused by her father and she had gotten so angry and afraid, he began floating in the air and was thrown out the window of her bedroom on the second story of their home. She did not understand what had happened, she thought she was a freak. Her parents had no idea of what she could do or what she was because they were muggles. The next day, she recieved a visit from one of the professors at Hogwarts about a month before she turned 11 who explained her powers and just what she was. Scarlett was so excited to learn about her powers because it ensured her father would never put a hand on her again and it got her away from him during the school year. When she got to school, she dove into her studies because she kept wanting to learn more and more. Scarletts favorite subjects were charms and transfiguration since it involved all kinds of magic. She loved the idea of being able to make things float or turn a key into a bunny. It all fascinsted her so much. She also loved Care of Magical Creatures. Her favorite Creature is the Unicorn because it is so fragile and rare. She sees herself as a unicorn at times because she sees herself as fragile as well. One day, Scarlett had been walking around the forest with one of her Slytherin friends and they were attacked by a werewolf. Her friend had escaped, but Scarlett had gotten bitten. This was in her 4th year, so it happened a year ago. She still is not used to transforming into a terrifying murderous beast every month.

Scarlett is the only child of Steven and Alexandria Fyre. She is very close to her Cousin Devin, who is about a year older than her. He has always been extremely protective of Scarlett, so he does not like her father very much. She has also always been close to her mother because of the abuse from her father.
