It was the end of November and the doctors were doing everything that they could do for Tessa. It was looking like it was working. Just like the doctor promised they made sure that none of the media caught wind of it. As this wouldn’t be in Tessa's best interest. Hopefully, Tessa would be waking up any day. Tessa was still lying in her bed. Looking like she was just sleeping. With visitors, she didn’t have very many. But then again she was still in a coma. The nurse was sure this would change once she was awake.
Tessa looked around and she was still in the dark. She wondered if that was going to be her new life. If she was going to stay in the dark forever. But that is when she noticed a ray of light. And that is when she was drawn to walk towards it. That is when she started to feel at peace with everything that happened between her and Jackson. And maybe now Chester was her future or maybe she was ready to make her own path. And walk on her own for the first time in her life. She was engaged to Damien when she was still at Salem.

The machines in her room started to beep. It showed that there were signs of life. Nurses were rushing to her room to make sure that everything was fine. That is when she was watching her eyes and they were reacting. It seemed like she was going to pull through and the last two weeks were a nightmare. One of the nurses went to call the gentlemen who would stop and visit her. As she knew that he would want to be here once Tessa was awake.
Her eyes were finally open. The doctor was in the room asking her questions. Tessa was sure that this was normal standards. But he then started to ask her personal questions and she really didn't know how to answer. It felt like she was giving the wrong answer. But the doctor told her that this was normal for someone who just woke up from a coma. And that there was nothing wrong with her. He told her that it would take her time to get her memories back. And he told her that she might not ever remember the accident.
Looking around the room Tessa could tell that she was by herself. The nurses would come into her room to bring her meals. She was trying her best to remember anything. It was frustrating and she would take small breaks. Because she knew that it wasn't going to come back all at once. Tessa was sure that it would come back in pieces. And she was just going to have to wait and have patience. Which was something that she wasn't known for.
