The colour black. (It is the classiest colour)
Quidditch, it’s a great way to show off his superiority over others. He also looks great on a broom.
Defense Against the Dark Arts. He appreciates the way that the class is engaged and moving around the entire time.
Being active. He is the kind of guy who will walk around a party, charming every lady as he makes his way through the scene. Ambroise will never be the type of man who sits down for long periods of time doing nothing because he believes that he is far more valuable than that.
Dislikes: (3 minimum)
Potions class. He believes that any fool should be able to follow directions. The real geniuses shine through in tests of strength and endurance, not by following a book word for word.
Muggleborns. Being of a pureblood line, Ambroise does not believe that wizards with a filthy bloodline are worth his time.
People who do not try. Despite his fortunate upbringing, Ambroise does not think that people should simply go through life mooching off of their lineage. He believes that every man deserves only what he was worked to gain and maintain.
The colour aquamarine. It confuses him. Is it blue or green? It needs to make a decision.
Sugar. Seeing as he is an athlete, Ambroise thinks that sugar will do nothing but ruin the incredible body that he has worked so hard to maintain.
Strengths: (3 minimum)
Quidditch. Ambroise knows his way around a quidditch pitch. Though he likes to think that he is extraordinary at every sport, Quidditch is the sport in which he is strongest.
Charming. He knows how to make the ladies swoon without a single word.
Words. Ambroise always knows what to say and how to say it. Some may say he has a silver tongue.
Cooking. Ambroise believes that every man should be able to fend for himself if need be, so he learned how to cook at a young age. He likes to think that if ever he had to run a restaurant, he’d earn five stars in under twenty four hours.
Style. Not a single hair is ever out of place. Ambroise always looks as though he has just come out of a modeling catalogue.
Weaknesses: (3 minimum)
Tends to be apathetic towards other people. Though he may tell someone that he cares about what they are saying, he is most likely barely paying attention to a word they are saying.
Numbers. Ambroise is not very good at maths beyond simple addition and multiplication. Large numbers tend to jumble, so he usually leaves math issues to other people.
He has not a single artistic bone in his body. The boy is great when it comes to physical activity, but he has the painting skills of a four year old with crayons
Positive traits: (3 minimum)
Smooth talker
Great smile
Great at sports
Critical thinker
Negative traits: (3 minimum)
Insincerity
Hubris
Bias against muggleborns
Apathy
Ambroise was brought up as a proper Pureblood male. He was raised in Quebec by his parents, Theodore Durand and Marianne Gavreau. In his younger years. Ambroise's father taught him how to behave in the world where they lived. This included how to dress, how to behave, and how to speak. He learned to see others not as people, but as pawns in life's game. He learned how to calculate every move he made in order to make sure that he was successful. When he reached the age of 11, Ambroise began to attend Hogwarts school. He worked hard to achieve the best possible marks in all of his classes and he networked his way to connections that would aid him later in life. Every single move he made was made in order to help Ambroise become the kind of man that his father wanted him to be, but his father eventually stopped noticing. As his son got older, Theodore became more and more distant.

The Durand family appeared to come out of nowhere sometime during the mid 19th century. They were one of the wealthiest families in North America, owning a majourity of Canadian land and they built somewhat of a legacy within the ministry of magic. While it is unclear exactly what branches of the wizarding government have been filled by the Durand family, it is well known that the family is very influential in important matters. The family is very traditional in the way that they do not allow their family members to marry wizards of any blood purity other than pureblood. (This was tried once by Natasha Durand. The girl fell in love with a muggle and she was exiled from Quebec, never to be seen again). The Durands are a proud people, often known for keeping a uniform and polished look.
Theodore and Marianne Durand were partnered together by their families because it seemed to be a good idea for both parties involved. There was never any kind of love between the two, but they did what was best for their legacies. They gave birth the one boy, Ambroise.
