He couldn't imagine how it'd feel to be an orphan. He supposed he knew nothing more than how he grew up- with his siblings and his rather attentive mother, and his father that was somewhat distant, and yet still concerned (particularly for James).
"Well," he said, scratching the back of his head "Seems like you might have a chance to remember," he gave a small smile, feeling significantly less awkward now, especially with her remark about not thinking too hard.
"You're right about that- that's why I have Anthony to do all the thinking for me," he chuckled a bit. His brother tended to think much too deeply for his liking- he just couldn't understand how one could concentrate so well.
"Anyway," he sighed "Father has some explaining to do, and I need to write that letter... I'll definitely tell you what he says though," he assured her.
