Why Eleonora had decided to sign up for this, of all things, she didn't really know. It had been an impulsive thing -- as most things with her were -- and she was starting to wonder if it was the right thing to do. As a Pureblood, she had an image to maintain, and despite everything it was something she cared about, after all. Still, she could use it as an opportunity to make friends, and without much further thought to it, she decided that there was no harm to just show up and hope for the best.
The note didn't phase her at all; flying was something she knew how to do, although her parents didn't fully... approve. At school, though, it wasn't like they could (fully) control her actions. Besides, it was fun, and wasn't that was it was about at the end of the day?
Grabbing her broom -- the latest one, naturally; she'd bought it when her parents didn't know -- she made her way to the pitch, wearing a simple jeans and blouse. Ceyal... the name was familiar, and she was sure she'd seen him around, but apart from that she didn't exactly know who he was. Asking her friends had only proved the same -- he was a mysterious person who only ever hung out by himself. Rumous were that he was seen with Brooke a lot. Now the latter girl, Eleonora knew. Or at least, knew of. They never really hung out before (she should probably change that) but they'd talked a few times before Brooke did a disappearing act. That was another thing that Eleonora didn't know about and needed to. Oh well; she'd ask in time.
As soon as she arrived at the pitch, she noted her date already flying above her. With a smile, she mouted her broom and took off, to join him. As soon as she caught up with him, matching his speed, she shot him a smile, and remembered just in time not to hold out her hand lest she lose balance and fall.
"Hi! You must be Ceyal, right? I'm Eleonora, but most people call me Nora, because the first is just such a mouthful and I'm sure the second is just much easier in general. Why my parents gave me such a posh name I'll never understand, although I suppose I could ask them -- I should, actually. Anyway, it's nice to meet you."
