Britain had been, interestingly enough, not high on his list of must-visits. Still, Jesse had known he would have to drop by some time, if only to see how things functioned over there. There was a lot to be said about how a place was run, and with the news of the recent assassination of the Minister, Jesse had put off his trip even further. If a muggle-weapon had been enough to do the job, there was even more to be said about security.
But, curiosity got the better of him and so, deciding to spend only a few days at most, Jesse had made arrangements. First he'd drop by the wizarding side, take a look at things from a visiting diplomat (even though he was neither; he wasn't going as the son of the Italian Minister) before taking to the countryside to see the muggle world.
Having checked into a motel, Jesse had cast his own protection charms around the place before leaving and walking the streets. He came to a slow by a bookstore. Seeing a promotion in the signs, and not having anything better to do, he decided to step in just to look around. Chances were he'd need a good book for when he was in the countryside; there didn't seem much to do other than relax. Glancing around, he made his way to the 'New Arrivals' section to begin browsing.
