It's my birthday!!! ( Open)

Dominique smiled as Elena asked if her mom outdid herself. “Mom said that I only turn twelve once. And she said that this was my last year till I turned a teenager. So she wanted it to be memorable.” Dominique knew that her mom loved to throw parties. It was something that she loved to do too. As Dominique was planning a slumber party with her friends once school started. But she was glad that Elena and Sasha was here. They were like an older sister to her. Since she was an only child. Dominique knew that she was going to have fun. Even though she had no idea who was coming. She hoped that Sterling would be there. As he said he would try and come to her party.

Dominique knew that she was glad Sasha was there. Because she though that she would be with Jackson. It made her glad when Sasha said that she wouldn’t miss this. Dominique then took the small gift that she had. “ I will put this with the other gifts.” She then smiled as she was glad that her birthday was here.

When Dia had invited her to the United States for her birthday party, Mercy had been afraid she wouldn't be able to go. The flight to and from America was expensive, and she would need to go with at least one of her parents, which would make it even more so. She had been ready to regretfully decline the invitation, citing money as the issue, but Dia had quickly put that problem out of her mind: Dia's parents would pay all expenses for Mercy and both her parents to travel to America for the party. It seemed all of Mercy's friends were rich, and well, Mercy wasn't complaining.

It was with great excitement that Mercy boarded the plane, flanked by her mam and dad, and packed for a three day trip to America. Not only was she going to Dia's party, the Williams family had decided to make a vacation of it, planning to go to Disneyland and see all the sights they could in the time they were there.

They'd reached their hotel in the evening on the 4th of August, and were staying until the morning of the 8th. Mercy had Dia's present wrapped and ready to go, and couldn't wait to see her friend and celebrate the younger girl's birthday.

Mercy had saved up all summer. She knew she couldn't get anything as expensive as Dia was probably used to, but she could still get something meaningful to the other girl. She knew Dia was hoping to try out as the Gryffindor seeker next year, so Mercy had saved up her allowance, and bought the girl a real golden snitch from Quality Quidditch Supplies so she could practice. She'd also filled the gift bag with an assortment of her own favourite Irish sweets, knowing Dia shared her sweet tooth.

On the day of August 6th, Mercy's parents escorted her to Dia's house and dropped her off. The bubbly Gryffindor ran up the front lawn and knocked excitedly on the door.

Dominique was told by her parents that they were flying Mercy and her parents to the party. So she was excited that one of her best friends was going to be there. Well it seemed like she had so many that it was hard to just choose one. It was like she was popular at Hogwats. But that didn’t matter as today was her birthday. And most of her friends were here. She knew that Mimosa was busy this summer in India. And she knew that her uncle was busy with his politics. Dominique hoped that Sterling would be there soon. But she was just going to focus on having fun. And enjoy spending time with the people that was there.

She had just let in Elena and Sasha. As she gave both girls a big hug and told them where they could put the presents. But she then heard another knock meaning that someone else was there. She wouldn’t know who it was until she opened the door. And it was Mercy as Dominique was grinning ear to ear. “ Mercy!!” She then hugged her one of her best friends/housmate. Hopefully Dominique could add that they will be teammates this year. You could tell that she was so happy. “ I am glad that you could make it.”

She then noticed the women that came to the school. Dominique really didn’t know her name. But she was from France. “ You are the person from the school as I helped you get to the headmistress.” She wasn’t sure what else she could say. “ Welcome!”
