The words didn't spark even the slightest amount of hesitation on Lyra's account. She had snuck out after curfew plenty of times back home, and she was sure she'd sneak out plenty here. After all, her and Mary-Kate would need to have their sleepovers somehow, and she was fairly certain that it was probably discouraged if not against the rules to sleep in a dorm that was not your own. But if you followed all the rules, how boring the world would be!
The only problem she had was whether she'd be able to find her way to the classroom. It was in the dungeons, so she supposed all she'd have to do was start memorizing floor plans. If she spent enough time exploring the dungeons she would have no trouble finding anything at all. She planned to memorize the whole school at some point, but the dungeons were the best place to start.
As he reaffirmed he actually needed to go she nodded and gave him a small smile, hoping to salvage something from this conversation. "I can certainly understand that. I'll see you Wednesday then. Thank you, I really do appreciate it."
