Family Background/History

Haydes is the only son of an old family that has dedicated their lives to hunt vampires and werewolves. This tradition has been carried for hundreds of years and as such he has been trained since the age of seven. He was an exceptional hunter, never failing a job until one night; one single mistake caused him to become what he had been trained to kill.

His father, fearing that Haydes would lose his humanity and become a blood-thirsty animal, sent him to Hogwarts. Here he hoped that Haydes’ human side remained in control. Haydes is having trouble adjusting to his condition, he hates himself for getting bitten and sometimes thinks that the other hunters should have killed him.

His greatest fear is that he will turn into the blood-thirsty creature he was raised to kill. Haydes is otherwise a laid back kind of guy, never rushing into anything except to protect the innocent and weak. However, he tends to rationalize everything and is a bit of an introvert although he has moments when he will show off.

He often feels like it is up to him to make the world a safe place and won't hesitate to do so when a chance arrives. To do this, he feels that it is right to protect Hogwarts from any danger that it will face. Though, he wonders if he is able to protect the school, when he has to save them from people like himself.
