Kenneth exited Gringotts, tugging the cuffs of his shirt straight under his suit jacket and blinking in the sudden sun. He had come to deposit a large sum of money from his most recent stint of curse-breaking in Japan, as well as offer his services to the goblins on occasion. Besides allowing him to add money to his account, though he already had enough to sustain himself, it would also give Ken the excuse to be out of the country during some of the Basilisks' small and mid-sized missions. A good alibi was nothing to scoff at.

Walking down the steps of the bank, Ken joined the throng of shoppers in the street. He stood out in his Muggle clothes, but he preferred the statement they made; he was unafraid of and embraced his Muggle heritage, unlike many other withes and wizards.

Glancing at the shops around him, Ken was busy wondering if there was anything else he needed to do before heading for home. In his distraction, he bumped into someone, hard. He caught himself quickly with years of reflexes and managed to grab the other person's elbow, keeping them upright as well. "I'm sorry," he told them with a smile. "I was distracted. I didn't mean to knock into you."

Codey was not in a particularly good mood this morning. It appeared his brother, newly made the Ellingston heir after their parents had passed away, had given him a week to clear himself from the family. Apparently, while his parents had been accepting of his desire to be with Aria and his anti-Pureblood ways, Clifton secretly harboured a grudge against his brother, and was a Muggle, Muggleborn, and half-blood hater.

Wanting nothing to do with this, Codey was removing all his assets and changing everything he owned to be placed under Aria's name. The last thing left was his money.

Moving towards the bank, he was suddenly pushed by somebody, and turned to glare at the person. Before he could, however, said person had grabbed his elbow, and Codey wondered if this was to stabilize them, or him.

At the apology, he fully turned to see the wizard who had spoken, and recognized him as the leader of The Basilisks. They were the talk and gossip of his office, and Codey was intrigued. Smiling warmly at the man and forcing back the irritation, Codey shrugged. "No harm no foul," he said.

Only years of acting kept the smile from freezing on Ken's face. Though his expression remained calm and natural, on the inside, he was seething. He had been in a relatively good mood, but then he had to run into one of them. He quickly removed his hand from the other man's elbow, only barely refraining from wiping it on his shirt.

Ken had made it his business to learn all the members of the Pureblooded families in Britain, as well as quite a few in France and other surrounding countries. If he was right, and he was pretty sure he was, this was one of the Ellingston brothers, Corey or Cole or something. Codey, that was it!

Realizing that the man was probably waiting for some form of response, Ken made a show of checking him over, as though for injury, also taking in his general appearance. He was really quite attractive. Pity he was a Pureblood and married. "As long as there isn't any harm," he said with his most charming smile. "I would hate to make a new acquaintance this way." He needed to be seen politely interacting with Purebloods on occasion, so he resigned himself to a short exchanging of platitudes before they went their separate ways.
