| "Circe."
"What," the witch snapped almost instantly after he voiced her name, giving him a look of annoyance. His tone proved that he couldn't be less impressed about this, but she didn't pay attention to that. Instead, she crossed her arms over her chest, staring at him intensely.
"I can't believe you're saying this. Really? When. I. Watched. It. With. My. Mother. I. Watched. To. See. Kate."
Circe snorted and a scowl formed on her lips right after his little excuse was spoken. She knew James was that kind of a man, but watching a movie with his mother and dreaming about fucking the woman in the movie was plain disgusting. Though watching porn was somewhat the same thing, so Circe quickly found herself groaning more to herself than anything and giving up on fighting this. And that was because she too had done this in the past, and certainly, more than once.
"If I wanted to see tits now, I would damn well undress you, not watch a stupid movie."
A smirk touched the woman's lips and she allowed her teeth to capture her lower lip in her mouth, biting it softly as her eyes fixed on James. She really couldn't get enough of him, and that was probably why they fit each other so well. He knew how to make her crave things. And she knew how to take them. And of course, the other way around.
"Well, you know that could be arranged for sure." A wink followed her statement, making sure James got the message. Circe loved to play games with her man.
"What is wrong with you this evening? Why are you acting so jealous? I'm here. With you. What more do you want?"
Circe frowned at that. James was right again and that made her feel so bad. She was insecure, scared of losing him, and she knew that well enough. But Circe was never weak. And accepting that feeling would seem she was weak. "I am sorry." She then disengaged herself from him, moving back to her corner on the sofa and falling quiet. Nothing more. |

| "Well, you know that could be arranged for sure."
James rolled his eyes - not in the slightest bit secretive in the movement - at Circe's statement. That, was not what tonight was about, and she knew that. This whole argument was stupid - and one of the major reasons he'd avoided relationships for so long. He simply did not want to listen to a woman berate him for things so... trivial.
"We're watching the film." James insisted, motioning to the TV behind her that was currently paused.
The apology made James shake his head. "I don't need you to be sorry, I just need you to think before you accuse me of such stupid things." James told her as she moved back to her seat. Jealousy was not alluring in the slightest, but James couldn't help but feel... something as Circe made herself comfortable once more.
So, without saying a word, James moved enough to be able to pull Circe back to him, putting the blanket over the two of them and settling back in to the sofa as he clicked play.
"Don't think I'm getting you blue diamonds." James muttered softly as the story continued, eyes firmly on the TV as he spoke. Whether he meant that statement or not in that moment would remain to be unseen, but he was trying to ease the tension in Circe, picking at the popcorn she'd made for them both as the film continued on with it's sickening love story. |

| "We're watching the film."
Crice smirked, not bothering to try and talk him out of it. She didn't intend to do anything more than watch a movie with him, but just having him think about it was enough of a success for her. Circe was good with mind games, and James loved it, even if he didn't accept it.
"I never said otherwise, dear."
Moving away from him was what seemed like the right thing to do after the little jealousy scene she had created. She didn't want to act like a scared fifteen year old girl, who was insecure about her relationship, but when something or someone, belonged to her, she did not share. And just the idea of James fantasizing about an actress instead of her made her blood boil. She wanted to be the only one in his head. The only one he would dream of.
But without a warning, James pulled her back closer to him, holding her in his arms -no, it was not cuddling- and bringing the blankets over the both of them. Circe allowed a soft genuine smile to touch her lips, and if they were a cute little couple full of love and joy, she would have reached out to peck him on the cheek or on the lips as a thank you. But they were anything but that, so the affectionate gestures didn't even reach the point of contemplating.
"Don't think I'm getting you blue diamonds."
Another smirk touched the woman's lips and a small wave of laughter filled the room. "Well, they don't have to be blue.. or diamonds." Circe have him a playful little wink, before she settled back into his arms and watched the rest of the movie in silence. |
