What's Your Patronus/Animagi Form? Empty
PostSubject: What's Your Patronus/Animagi Form?   What's Your Patronus/Animagi Form? EmptyWed Apr 20, 2016 8:26 am

So, because I've got nothing better to do/am bored/am interested, I thought we could have a little fun, and get to know each other better! Basically, this is a thread to post what your animagi form would be, as well as your patronus form. If you want, you can include a description/analysis of why it is what it is. Smile

You don't have to use the format, but I've included one for you anyway.

Code:
[b]Name:[/b]

[b]Animagus form:[/b]

[b]Why (optional)?:[/b]

[b]Patronus:[/b]

[b]Why (optional)?[/b]

Here's mine, though! Smile

Name: Melanie

Animagus form: Most likely a labrador or a golden retriever

Why (optional)?: I'm fiercely loyal to my friends, and it isn't hard for me to consider one a friend. I love meeting people and getting to know them. I'm open to most everyone, and I give everyone I meet chances - too many, some might say, but I disagree on that. I either trust you WITH all, or not AT all, which is a bad thing, but I'm working on that.

Like labs, I'm protective of my friends, to a point where I don't even want to see them get hurt. I do my best to protect them if I can help it.

I'll take a lot of shit from people, and not really defend myself for most of it, but don't mistake me for someone who won't put up a fight should it come down to it. I'll let you push me around, toy with me, be rude to me, but only for so long. One too many times and I will walk away, and if I walk away, chances are I won't come back. But it takes a lot to make me do that.

I can come across as over playful and energetic at times, like an overgrown puppy, and I don't always know how to reign that in. But I'm not aggressive, though sometimes it may seem like I am. It's all honestly just a laugh for me, and I enjoy having fun in all I do.

Labs are considered one of the more 'hyperactive' dog species; I have ADHD. They're also, in a sense, too trusting, as they don't make good watchdogs; they're more likely to greet thieves than bark at them, and I can also be too trusting, too quickly.

Without meaning to sound like I'm bragging, I am pretty smart and intelligent, and I do possess the capacities to be a straight A student. But I would much rather spend my time relaxing and being with people than studying or doing say, maths or chemistry, and I would rather be outdoors or with friends than indoors/in a classroom. Also, because of my ADHD it's hard to focus, and just like labs, I'd much rather do something fun and entertaining (like running through a mud puddle) than sit still in class.

I love people in general - meeting them, getting to know them, etc - but I do also get tired. Sometimes I just get overloaded mentally and my brain kinda just shuts down. So, like labs, I'll literally just lie down and go to sleep in the middle of a game (not literal sleep, but mind shutting off kinda sleep).

Patronus: Dolphin

Why (optional)? Well, seeing as patronuses are based on how current states and can/do change, I would say that my original patronus is this - a dolphin - though as I change and grow and mature, it might change.

Why a dolphin? Well, mostly because dolphins are playful. They enjoy their fun, finding the joy in almost everything they do (seriously; they make bubbles underwater to play with when bored), but they are also about community, as they are found not alone, but in pods.

They're not only protective of their pod, but they easily accept others, though, and have been known to protect other species as well. They have an emphasis on family, but anyone can be part of that; pods of dolphins are known to work with whales and stuff. (I also love the ocean, does that count? XD)

Having said all that, dolphins (as very kindly pointed out by a friend...) are also socippathic, sometimes, so we'll see about that. xD

Note: I am undecided because I'm an indecisive person I'm so sorry

Name: Lor

Animagus/Patronus: Arctic Fox

Why?: There's something about arctic foxes that always just resonated with me. I remember the first time I heard about them—I was on an environmentalist site, Greenpeace or PETA probably, and I heard about how they were nearing endangered species state. I got upset, even more than I usually do every time I hear about animals going endangered/extinct, and so I decided to look them up.

I learned from my research about how Arctic Foxes are some of the most playful wild animals you can ever encounter. They are like puppies, but wild—they're fun and sweet towards their family, and they've also got great survival skills. What I found interesting is that they love to dig and live in tunnels, and gosh, I LOVE THE UNDERGROUND. If any of you know the Percy Jackson series, I'd be a Daughter of Hades from there. Razz I love digging mostly because of my love of archaeology, but I also just really like how cosy and cold underground places are, so there's that.

The problem with being an Arctic Fox animagus is that I'd have to be somewhere cold, and with friends. xD I don't know, I just think they're the sort of animals to get lonely when they're not with friends/family. And the thing is, though most of my IRL friends label me as an Ice Queen, I'm actually rather clingy to friends and I love just having fun with them. At my happiest (or most natural state), I'm playful and adventurous, and I think that trait is a very arctic fox trait.

Animagus/Patronus: Doe

Why?: Does have always struck me as elegant, graceful and peaceful animals. Lily Evans' Patronus was a doe, and I think it's perfect because I imagine her to be this woman who always remained composed even under duress. Does are also associated with wonder and being in touch with your inner child, which I think I'm very in touch with. Even at 22, I'm still in love with fairy tales, dollhouses and campfire ghost stories, and there are lots of times when I feel sad/angry because I feel like I'm forced to 'grow up'.

The thing about does, though, is that they're not all sweetness and wide-eyed innocence. Doe kicks hurt, and they're incredibly fast and can change directions quickly. They're also determined to survive, although they're not the aggressive/violent sort of survivalists. But yes, in general, does are great and beautiful animals.

I'd like to think that underneath all my anger and misanthropy, I'm actually a sweet, sensitive soul. I mean, the reason why I'm so angry all the time is because I care deeply. Does are like that—they're sensitive animals, and because of that they can be quite reactionary. This page actually describes my personality quite well, which is why I think a doe animagus/patronus really suits me.

What's Your Patronus/Animagi Form? Empty
PostSubject: Re: What's Your Patronus/Animagi Form?   What's Your Patronus/Animagi Form? EmptyWed Apr 20, 2016 5:55 pm

Name: Eve

Animagus form: Wolf

Why (optional)?:

Well, I've thought about this for a very, very ling time, cause I always wondered like... how would it be if I could turn into an animal. And well, I've been told one too many times that I would probably be a she-wolf.

I can see myself being a she-wolf, because I share way too many characteristics with it, and it fascinated me how much can see myself into an animal. Or, how much of an animal I truly am myself.

The wolves, just like me, are very closed off, and prefer to stick their 'family', meaning their pack, much like the way I do. I am not an overly friendly person, and I hate changes just as much as they do. I prefer to stick with my own pack, the people I know, trust and love, even if they are only a couple of them. Numbers don't matter that much to me.

Also, a common misconception is that people believe wolves are savage and vicious, something that I get a lot from people. They always tell me that I look dangerous and mean, ready to rip their heart out (sometimes, I am) but on the contrary, much like these animals, I tend to avoid any aggressive fights. Come to thin that they live in packs, something that would just not work out if they were constantly at each other's throats. However, I can be quite savage and show aggression when it comes down to protecting what is important to me.

Side note: That does not mean I am particularly gentle either.

Wolves are intelligent creatures, fast and cunning. But at the same time, they can be lethal if you get on their black list.
Much like the person I've been to this day. For these reasons, and many others that would take a lot of time to explain, I truly believe that my Animagus would be a Wolf.

Patronus: Panther

Why (optional)? Cause the test said so, and who am I to question this test? xD
