Zander sat hunched over the bar, he had already downed nearly three glasses of Firewhiskey and he hadn't even been in the pub for twenty minutes. Her was stressed to say the least because he wanted Victoria's proposal to be perfect and everything was turning out wrong. The ring he had originally wanted wasn't carried anymore so he had to choose a different one and he was still having an issue finding a reason to travel with her to even do his proposal without her suspecting a thing.
Victoria was at dance and he knew after she'd likely go home due to being exhausted so he wouldn't be expected to be over today, plus he had told her he'd be training late. Luckily for him, he could use an excuse such as work to lead her off his trail and why he'd been acting weird lately, he just tells her he's exhausted, it's the perfect plan. Plus she's still studying for her degree and that takes a lot of her time. He sighed and took another sip of his firewhiskey. He knew Victoria didn't care what the proposal looked like, but he did and that was a big deal.
