Qualifications & Previous Education: Studied Potions at University for four years, before working for the Ministry until recently creating new potions.

Roleplay Example: James had rendered the room immaculate for the start of his teaching, there were very few men in his role that didn't do such a thing in all honesty. A potioneer who wasn't attentive to cleanliness was no potioneer to begin with.
On the board were the instructions for the potion in which they would be studying this lesson, written in James hand, by hand. He hadn't quite mastered the skill of using magic to do that for him, and he didn't wish for his students to struggle with the reading of his instructions.
He'd also placed a copy of the book they would be needing in addition to their normal text on each table, extra reading. For those who had a keen interest in their work.
There were no nerves for James, he knew he could do this without looking at a book, he had the knowledge, the experience. The only thing he needed to do was teach that knowledge to the children who would enter with time. Make young minds thrive with knowledge, had been his instructions, and James intended on delivering just that.
