Duelists of the World

History: A duelist originally hailing from Nigeria, Mpho Okeke rose to prominence in his home country as well as his performances in most African continental tourneys.  Turning pro at the age of 19, Mpho has been on the dueling circuit for many years, and is hailed by many as a veteran of the sport.  many see him as a potential hall of fame duelist.

Dueling Popularity/Notoriety: Wildly considered one of the most recognized and popular duelists in the world today.  A uniquely physical fight style is considered slightly barbaric and is often heavily criticized, however it never fails to draw a crowd.

History: A Canadian duelist that has had a great many ups and downs in the field.  Growing up in Canada, and performing very rarely in the international stage, he has mostly maintained a low key career.  Turning pro around the age of 21 he has stayed consistently at the tops of the Canadian and North American ranks for duelists.  He has held the Canadian Championship on 3 seperate occasions including currently.  As soon as he wins it, he typically looses it however.

Dueling Popularity/Notoriety: Due to his title as a champion of a country, diehard sports fans are aware of his existence.  Casual viewers of the sport however often times are not as aware of his existence.

History: Quinn King had a late start into the professional dueling Circuit.  Not officially turning pro until well into hi mid twenties, he took the United States by storm.  Several strong showings early, and a way of building the gravitas of the fights earned him (some would say to soon) a title shot.  He was able to take this, and hasn't given it back sense.  Looking to become the first duelist ever to hold the title for 7 consecutive years, he is poised to do just that.  

While his American career has been one of domination when it comes to titles and victories, his international career has been more lackluster.  A series of mediocre finishes where finally capped off by a 2nd place finish in the Italian Championships.

Dueling Popularity/Notoriety: An incredibly well recognized Duelist, Quinn is often recognized by fans, and even casual viewers of the sport.  A polarizing figure, many find themselves either loving or hating him.

History: Considered one of the best duelists to ever come out of Mexico, Alejandra has been a source of national pride for some time.  Turning pro at 18, she made a splash as soon as she entered with a unique style, good looks, and a tendency to win.  

Current Titles: The Mexican National Champion, South American Champion, The Americas Champion

Dueling Popularity/Notoriety: Another polarizing figure, she is well recognized and known worldwide.  While in her home Country she is met with awe, other countries have a harsher view.  Some have even described her style as cruel.  Nevertheless, she is well known and a top contender for World Champion.

History: A positive phenomena in France, the Rousseau sisters turned professional at the age of 16 by falsifying their age in their very first pro circuit and winning the whole thing. By the time they were were caught out, they were old enough to participate legally and continue their winning streak. As individuals, both of them are formidable duelists but titles are hard to allocate between them as they have been known to sign up under the other's names. Therefore, each accolade won by them is credited as a victory to the twin unit as a whole. Zoe's style appears to be more destructive while Suzette prefers stealth based techniques. However, the twins are so good at adapting each other's style that it is impossible to tell them apart on most occasions.

Current Titles: French Champions, French Doubles Champions, European Under 22 Champions. Greek Honorable Champions, Clement Oder of the Gold or services to France

Dueling Popularity/Notoriety: Rev erred for their young age and astonishing achievements, the Rousseau sisters have a huge fan following world wide but are not taken seriously among more practiced duelists. the twins have never dueled outside of Europe and have yet to test their mettle against legends like Okeke and Arellano. At 22, they still have much to look forwards to in their pro dueling career.
