Dress sense: When on shoots, the child wears whatever she is told to. Part of the job and all. At home, she prefers light clothes due to the heat and once was known to spend an entire weekend in her bathing suit in hopes of guilting her grandfather into taking her to the sea. It did not work.
Birthmarks: -
Tattoos: -
Scars: A deep gash has long healed upon her forehead, higher up into her hairline that it’s easy to hide now. Mimosa gets a different story every time she asks how she got the scar.
Piercings: #clipons4lyfe
Likes: – Mimosa has always loved the feeling of flying, something about soaring through the air like birds, or clouds, or even paper planes as long as they flew. On her sixth birthday, she opened up a big pink box to discover it held a doll with her own wardrobe and cried and cried until her Godmother Clara promised to exchange it for a toy broom. She wasn’t allowed to ride on her own though, but at least Mimosa had something to fly on now.
- Pictures, especially the really colorful ones. As a child model, Mimosa has featured in many but her favorites are always ones that contain splashes of color and bright, shining hues.
- Travelling, specially to places with an abundance of tourist attractions. The child has visited many cities and countries for her work and wants to visit many more just to say she's been there. One day, Mimosa hopes to see the entire world!
Dislikes: -Vegetables – they are yucky period
-Books – Mimosa isn’t a huge fan of reading, she hasn’t finished a book so far in her young life but her family hopes she will start taking them more seriously once she starts school
- Being called “Mim”, that is not her name
Strengths: -Reasonably well behaved for a child her age, especially on set. She has her cranky days but for the most part, going to work with her grandfather has instilled in her a respect for his craft.
-Curious – and a little on the fearless side because of it. Mimosa loves to explore, often giving her near and dear mini panic attacks when they find her trying to climb up a tree to exam a hornet’s nest or put her hand down an ant hill to see what happens. Her Godmother – a self proclaimed lifelong psychic – is usually called upon to make sure Mimosa doesn’t hurt herself by just existing as the curious child she is.
- Dogged. Mimosa is one determined little girl no matter what the issue. She will just as firmly remind you that her name is Mimosa, not Mim, as she would repeat a question eight times until even you can’t pretend to not have heard. This leads to particularly embarrassing situations in social groups her family frequents and for the most part, her grandfather has learned to just answer the child instead of trying to distract her
Weaknesses: -Mimosa is terrible with names herself though she expects everyone to know her own. Too much exposure from an early age made all names, places and faces blur in the periphery. But she’s getting better at remembering the select few people she wants to.
-Physically unique: Mimosa was diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta at the age of nearly two. As a result, she had to undergo quite a few surgeries to reconstruct her tiny bone structure which had altered her skeletal frame drastically from early neglect. How it happened it a mystery to her but she knows she was in the hospital a lot. Due to the damage and restructuring of her jaw, backbones and legs, her body became more symmetrical, a perfect accident nature could never have conceived. As a result, she started being given offers of modeling, having achieved a body and face type rather unique for children her age.
- Slow reader, words just don’t make sense to her. Her favorite thing about bedtime is Grandpa and Clara reading to her though every time they hand her the book to try, the girl promptly falls asleep.
Positive traits: - Mostly cheerful
-Easily makes friends
-Is "an artist", not some kid finger painting
Negative traits: -Spoiled
-Very naive and out of touch
-Picky eater
Mimosa’s first real memory isn’t even a memory. Maybe it’s a dream she had before she knew what dreams were. She remembers lights, red and blue. They looked pretty but something was keeping her from admiring the lights. She doesn’t remember what that something was.
A child raised by the sea, Mimosa is – as urban legends go – half fish. So much so that when her grandfather, Kit Harrington, accidentally dropped her in the swimming pool when she was three, the girl promptly turned on her back and began to float. The rest is history.
As a toddler, Mimosa had to endure several corrective surgeries to realign her bone structure. No one tells her why this was necessary, perhaps she was born with bad bones, perhaps she had fallen from somewhere? Knowing Mimosa, probably the latter. All she knows is that there was the hospital, lots of people in scrubs, Grandpa looking worried and then everything went dark. Several surgeries later, she was allowed to go home and when she asked Clara what was wrong with her, Clara merely replied that Mimosa was just extra, extra special.
Her Godmother must have been right because a few weeks later while she was out with her grandpa on a shoot when she was mistaken for a model and herded to the costume trailer. Curious by nature, she had followed without objection and emerged dressed up as a fairy princess for the cereal ad they were shooting that day. Upon looking at Mimosa all dressed and made up and the actual child model looking sickly and dull beside the girl, the director had decided to change models immediately. Thus started Mimosa Harrington's modeling career. She was nearly four at the time.
Today Mimosa lives happily with her grandfather, a Godmother and several other distant family members. since turning five, she also spends ehr summers in France with another set of grandparents as their "ward". The child is not old enough yet to question relationships of blood or love, accepting everyone into her life as if they have always been her own.

Where other kids have two parents, Mimosa grew up with Grandpa Kit and Clara, and didn’t really care enough to make sense of why she had those two instead of “mom” and “dad”. She did ask Clara once but Clara said it was a secret. So of course Mimosa will not rest until she finds out said secret.
Family legend tells that Kit and Clara met at a a shoot of a particularly superstitious producer who wanted a psychic at hand to predict the perfect moment each shot had to be taken in. His film still tanked pretty hard (don’t tell Clara but she’s not that good!) but Kit and her Godmother became great friends. Once she heard grandpa thanking Clara for helping him raise two daughters but she supposed that only meant she was enough trouble to be counted as two people instead of one.
Mimosa has no idea how Grandpa and Grandmere met, nor why they don’t live together but hey, adults are silly creatures. Who can tell why they do what they do. Besides, Grandmere is perfectly happy with Grandpere so who cares!
