"Good morning, sorry I'm a bit late,"

Daniel gave a small smile. "It's okay, just don't make a habit of it, yeah?" The Headmaster responded. He could hardly tell someone off for something he was famed with back at school, could he? No, Daniel had changed enough since school to know that time keeping was a skill, and he certainly did not possess it.

The question though made Daniel pause, recounting his own reading on the creatures before giving a somewhat unhelpful shrug of the shoulder. "Truth be told, there's no right answer to that question. However, I could hazard a guess that they can pick up on the magical qualities of people like us, and that... acts as a calming feeling towards the crups." Daniel provided, before continuing.

"And, seeing as Muggles do not give off any magical feeling to the crups, this could make the weary - perhaps even jumpy - and that is why they attack Muggles. However, this is not proven, so I wouldn't suggest directly quoting me on that." Daniel told her. "Of course, you're free to make up your own version of events, if you're not so fond on my idea."

Two years at Hogwarts and the girl still hadn't learned that Care of Magical Creatures was an outdoor class and she was a girl who hated the outdoors, however, she loved animals. Not for the same reason most girl's did however. She loved animals because most of them were just as caring and compassionate as she was. They were gentle souls, the gentlest souls on the planet other than human babies and they made the Ravenclaw happy.

As she showed up to class, a little late not to mention, she noticed her classmates had already began to work with today's lesson, crups. The girl totally kicked herself for being late and vowed to get herself a remberall, however she didn't need one because on days were she had a piece of chocolate for breaksfast, she wasn't late. Evelyn let out a soft smile and as she listened to the end of the professors instructions she picked out a group (reluctantly) and began to attempt to brush one of the creatures. Despite missing the portion where the professor explained to be cautious of their teeth, Evelyn knew better with all her reading, though crups wouldn't be too much of a harm to her as she was no Muggle.

Crups. Joshua remembered reading about crups a few times back when he was first looking into the Wizarding World. He had been fascinated by the creatures, due to the fact that they attacked muggles but left wizards unscathed. Seeing these creatures for the first time, he wondered why their appearance did not match the evil of which they were capable. He considered what would happen if he "accidently" brought a crup back to his home in Massachusetts. As he pictured his muggle parents being attacked by demon puppies, he was unsure whether he would be frightened or relieved.

The Hufflepuff approached a crup with a brush. The creature looked innocent enough, but Joshua knew to be careful around its teeth. As he brushed it, he considered calling the crup Clyde. He was aware that he and the crup would most likely never cross paths again, but he still felt that it deserved a name. Clyde seemed to be a perfect fit. Clyde Barrow had been a famous American outlaw. He had killed around thirteen people, but he was still able to find love in the form of Bonnie Parker. Joshua had always been puzzled by the fact that something as pure as love could exist among something as dark as murder.

"Now aren't you handsome?" Joshua laughed, gently petting the crup's back.
