| James had set up the class for the day, the sooner this was over, the sooner he could get away for the break he had planned with Circe. Of course, his relationship with the School Nurse was not common knowledge in the school, and James was certainly not going to be the cause for a change in that.
The fact he was getting away had put James in a slightly better mood that day, it would be noticeable, but not enough to make James' class a comfortable affair.
On the board, as always, was the topic of today's lesson. Wiggenweld Potion. James sat with his feet up on his desk, hands behind his head, eyes closed. He would wait for the second bell to sound before he moved from this position, because James was not the kind of Professor who greeted everyone as they entered his classroom. No, that kind of Professor was not one James would ever be. |

| Tristan had been okay with his Potions class, but he just felt that the Professor seemed not to really care about the students. Even though he was not going to get himself in trouble either. Which meant howlers from home would be sent saying he was embarassing his family which he was not going to do.
He soon wondered what in the world they would doing in the last Potions class until break. As he entered the classroom he saw Professor Balan with his feet on the table which was no surprise, because it seemed he did not care, and with that Tristan would just mind his own business and go about working.
Which is what he simply did best at which was no lie, and soon seeing the topic being Wiggenwald Potion, which had a different name as he got his belongings out, and hoped that they would be able to use them soon. Since he wanted to go back to his common room, and find something fun to do.
As he soon sat and waited. |

| Ryder had not liked any of classes since he felt none of them were fun enough, well maybe Defence Against the Dark Arts, but he also liked Potions the other classes were not really his favorites. Since he hated textbooks and doing boring stuff. As he made his way down to Potions which he felt he hated Professor Balan since he seemed somewhat like a jerk.
Soon Ryder looked and he began making his way to Potions, and hoping that perhaps it could be an easy lesson. Ryder had wondered if it would be a holiday mood. Or just another not so fun class, and being able to just work on Potions. As he soon got down there and he entered the Potions classroom to see a Slytherin student.
He wondered what was in the Professor's mind as he soon looked, and saw they were doing Wiggenwald Potion and he soon took a seat since he hated classes. They soon looking and hoping he had some fun, as he took a seat, and got his belongings and sat and waited. |

| The news that Potions were the upcoming lesson would have put any student, including Elyah, in a very foul mood. Had Professor Balan not been such a grumpy and mean person, the lesson would have been much, much better. It wasn't so bad now either, though. Elyah enjoyed it very much once she blocked out the ignorant words of Professor Balan, but also, stayed away from Max.
She still hadn't forgotten about the Potions incident. Or more like, accident, that had lead Professor Balan to the Hospital Wing, very angry might she add. Maybe that was when he met Nurse Mayer, and fell in love with her. Who would have thought that such an arrogant man would find such a good lady to love him. Elyah could still find it hard to believe these rumors.
Sighing, Elyah moved out of her Common Room and down the Hallways, arriving at the Potions Classroom faster than ever. When her mind was couded with thoughts, Elyah always tended to walk faster, as if she was running awya from any thoughts troubling her. Checking to see all of her things were with her, Elyah made her way inside, rolling her eyes at the look of Professor Balan chilling like there was no lesson here. He was such a jerk.
Her eyes also spotted two more people in the class, boys, she had never seen before. A smirk touched her lips at that knowing that she might have competition. But Elyah was going to be the best in the class, unless Max decided to show up again. Then, she would ask Professor Balan to keep him away. She loved her friend, but this was far more important. |

| Potions was not a class Max was good at, anyone who knew anything about Max knew that his excitable personality did not suit the concentration that was needed to create the perfect potion. However, just because he wasn't good at something didn't mean Max was going to give up! So, hurrying down from the Gryffindor Tower for the lesson, Max slipped through the door to find Professor Balan looking very comfortable.
For a moment, Max thought about taking out a pen and drawing on the professor's face - Max was sure he was asleep - but (thankfully) a small voice in his head told him that this was not a good idea. Especially seeing as it was Professor Balan. So, Max took his eyes off the Professor and instead found Elyah.
Moving to the seat next to her, Max smiled. "Hey! I promise not to blow anything up today! Or... maybe not promise, but, I'll do my best! Unless we can work together? That way it definitely won't blow up!" Max suggested, because he knew Elyah was really good at this lesson, and any help he could get would be great! |

| Potions lesson wasn't really the lesson what Delilah enjoyed too. She always tend to make mess awhile doing a potions. She always made things go bad or wrong way. She just sometimes did put something too much or too less. It happens with her.
She walked into the classroom and took a seat somewhere middle of it. She barely knew anyone here in the classroom to be honest. She have seen them here in classroom before and it was basically all about them. She looked at the board and sighed.
She mostly sighed since she had no idea what potion it even was, what it was even useful for. She couldn't recall it for sure right now. She hoped someone would explain it later on. She actually waited class to start so it could end already. She really hoped she won't mess anything up this time really. |

| As the students trickled in to class, James paid little and less attention to each of them until the Gryffindor that had put him in the Hospital Wing walked in. Bristling a little at seeing the boy again, James took a deep breath and played it cool. After all, he was just a kid, and James was much more capable of control than the fool who had entered.
As the bell alerted the start of class, James cleared his throat.
"Who can tell me the use of the Wiggenweld Potion? I expect detail, but not the textbook's words. Tell me what you have understood, not what you can regurgitate." James told the class, looking around the faces before him with expectation. This question would soon sort out those who could memorise and those who understood, which, in this class, was very few of them.
Talent in Potions was dying, very quickly, it seemed. |
