It had been a long time since I've been here, Roxanne Förstner mused, as she stared at the magnificent castle that was Hogwarts, her eyes softening just ever so slightly as the Förstner Heiress remembered her fond memories at Hogwarts, all the laughter and happiness she shared with her friends. It was something that she would forever treasure but she had lost contact with all of the people she met in England and that was probably her fault.

Graduating Hogwarts with top marks and then literally disappeared from the British Magical world like that would make anyone forget the person they had spent seven years with. She had moved back to Germany where she quickly undertook a Mastery in Dark Arts, Potions and Ancient Runes, finally managing to finish all of them at the same time but with equally amazing results.

She wasn't the youngest to finish the Masteries in four years but she was the youngest who had ever done all three at the same time and managed it without falling over and denying it a hopeless case. It had been hard and her schedule had been full to the brim but Roxanne had prevailed and now she was proud to say that she was a Dark Arts, Potions and Ancient Rune's Mistress.

After finishing her Mastery the then twenty-two-year-old female had travelled for a while before finally going back to England to see Hogwarts once more, if only just to remember the fond times. Moving to sit down at one of the many cafes scattered around Hogsmeade, Roxanne ordered herself a black coffee with no sugar and milk before relaxing, her whole posture seemingly losing the guarded state she was in.

Though to the trained eye, everyone could see the subtle way she was sitting so that her back wasn't to the crowd. They could see how her hand never strayed far from her wand. They could see the outline of a gun holster under her jacket. She may look harmless to someone else but in truth, Roxanne was anything but. So should anyone try anything, they would be in for a surprise.

Hogsmeade days were nice. At one point, Severine had hated them but since graduating from Hogwarts, her perspectives changed. She was a nicer, gentler person, one she never would've imagined herself to have been back in her sixth year. She was dating Taylor Wilkes back then, a nice Pureblooded boy - one her father approved of. She had given him her first kiss, her virginity and her heart only to have it ripped away in the end.

The heartbreak had made her work harder at her studies than before, she was determined to make top marks and be able to go to University far, far away and that was what she got. She studied Healing abroad in America and traveled to several other countries before completing her studies and settling down in northern England. Healing was a subject she now felt passionate about, especially after having saved so many people lately. However back during Hogwarts, Severine would've never thought to be a Healer.

Severine's left hand held a cup of coffee, a golden band with a diamond glistening on her finger. The Muggleborn man she'd fallen in love with and married was sweet, he was her entire world and together they made a new one. Her right hand went down to her swollen abdomen, a smile coming across her lips as her small babe swam and kicked from the inside. She must love coffee, just like her mum.

The babe was due soon, meaning by the time Sev reached the small cafes that littered the streets of Hogsmeade, she was exhausted. She walked a bit further to find a spot and when she saw a table with an open spot, she took a rest - only to realise someone was already there. "Sorry, I'll be on my way," Severine said looking to the woman who sat across from her. She looked familiar, but Severine couldn't say she knew her. It was likely she was in Hogwarts at the same time as her, just younger. "Do I know you?"

The twenty five year old inspected the woman a bit more, insisted on the fact that she looked familiar. Severine just couldn't place a face with the name.

Roxanne had always been a fan of Hogsmeade weekends and the only reason for that was because she could spend a day with her father, relatively secluded away in a room at the Hogshead where they didn't ask questions and just went about their day. More often than not, those days had been spent with her curled up to her Father's side and listening to him tell her about his week or month, depending on when they met and how far apart their meetings where.

She was still single and proud about it; she wasn't pure by any means, after all as a teenager and a young adult she did have needs and her father had reassured her that he didn't mind as long as she didn't fall pregnant. Which she made sure to keep a point of always using the contraceptive charm, no matter how charming her bed partner was. She didn't want her child to be a bastard child.

The twenty-three-year-old was aware someone sat down at her table but she took no notice until the woman spoke up, which made Roxanne look up and stare at the blond woman in front of her. She did seem familiar, awfully so, but for the life of her she couldn't put a name to the face; many people grow up after all and don't stay the same as to how they were in Hogwarts.

"You can sit." She stared pointedly at the swollen abdomen of the woman. "Your baby will thank you for it. You look so far along that I fear you may pop if you don't rest your feet for a bit." Roxanne was no healer but she had taken on a Potion's mastery which also included Healing Potions and that had included a starter into Healing, which she was never going to do. Her magic was more inclined for the Dark Arts and Healing was mainly purely Light Magic which would react negatively to her magic.

At the question of whether they knew each other, Roxanne tilted her head. "We may have known each other at Hogwarts." She said politely. "It's been five years since my graduation and from what I know, older people look much different to when they were in Hogwarts. The name is Roxy... Well Roxanne Förstner, if that helps. Former Ravenclaw."

Just like the woman across from her inspected her, Roxanne did the same, her brows furrowing just a tiny bit. This was going to bug her for a long time but she did have some recollection of the woman in front of her.

The day at the pub where she met Taylor Wilkes changed everything. It built Severine up while tearing her down. She should've run, she should've never looked back. However, she allowed herself to fall into the trap of needing to be with someone - of wanting to not be so pure anymore. She snogged him and from there, he bought her chocolates and asked her out. After only knowing him for a day, naive Severine accepted.

Her gut told her to wait, it told her to give him a few weeks. She refused to listen. She thought she knew him but how silly of her. You couldn't really know someone after only a day - that was nonsense. She had given him her all, she had been betrothed to him and in the end, he hurt her more than anyone else could ever hurt her. It was hard to tell her father that they would not be joining with the Wilkes family and for awhile, he seemed more heartbroken than her. However, it was quickly realised that Severine was left vulnerable, she was exposed for all to see. She might as well had been dead.

It made her wonder how the two had even lasted for the two years they did date - after all their relationship seemed to be twisted and raveled in between lies, secrets and other partners. Nevertheless, the girl healed and as she did so - the guy she gave her vows too stayed beside her. He didn't push anything and for two years, he waited. After two years they had begun dating and another 2 years later, they were engaged after an additional two years they celebrated their wedding day. He never pushed for sex, he didn't push for kisses or cuddling, he allowed Severine to move at her own pace and for that, she loved him and owed him her life.

It had been discovered that she was with child at some point before the wedding but they chose not to rush the wedding. They would keep the date, it would still be large - only thing is Severine may or may not have needed a dress alteration.

Severine didn't know how to feel that day she discovered that they would be bringing a babe into the world but eventually, she was ecstatic. She absentmindedly rubbed her stomach, a small smile forming on her lips. Pregnancy was one of the most difficult things she'd ever experienced. Hormones raged, her body swelled, her skin stretched and overall, her demeanor changed. Near halfway through, they found out that the baby was a little girl and immediately Severine told her spouse that her name were to be Rosalie Carter. Severine had decided against the unusually long name, wanting to break away from her family and the Pureblood traditions they taught and lived by.

"Thank you," Severine responded, a light and friendly voice filling the air. "I have about a month or so left." Severine was practically beaming. She couldn't wait to see what baby Rosalie looked like. Would her hair be blonde and her eyes blue? Would her hair be red and her eyes brown? Then of course there was the possibility that her babies features could be even more mixed up, taking a piece of both her and her husband. They wouldn't know until Severine popped though.

"That's right, Hogwarts," Severine said, a slight smile at the fond memories of Hogwarts, especially her final year where she passed with the highest marks in her class. "It's been eight years since mine," she couldn't believe just how long she'd been out of Hogwarts for. A part of her mind flicked to Taylor and wondering how he was doing. Did he have children? A wife? Her mind drifted a bit more because focusing back to the present. "Sounds vaguely familiar, maybe we took Potions together or something. My name is Severine Charlot, former Gryffindor."

She wasn't sure if her name would ring a bell, her hope was that it wouldn't but the Charlot name was one that you couldn't hide from. Plus the breakup with Taylor was huge news.

There had been times in Roxanne's fairly short life, she was only twenty-three after all, that had shaped her into the woman that she was now and many of those moments had happened at Hogwarts. The biggest thing that had changed her had been her fleeting meetings with Mathew and then her subsequent stalking from the boy who seemed to have literally attached himself to her or at least the thought of her.

He had been charming at first, someone who Roxanne had felt she could like but soon that changed and very quickly. He scared her on occasion, made her question her decision to be at Hogwarts but she hadn't actually let him get to her. She just surrounded herself with friends, even if some of them ended up disappearing, and pretended that Mathew wasn't there.

It had probably been a bad decision on her part as that led to him becoming unstable in a sense and while she knew it wasn't entirely her fault she still felt bad for a number of people that ended up on the wrong side of his wand. That had probably been the time that she decided to disappear from the British Wizarding World after graduation altogether.

She graduated, took on the apprenticeships and just generally made herself scarce from the world that she had been a part of for seven years. It hurt when she lost contact with most people, the only ones that really spoke to her had been the people that were literally stubborn enough to not let her disappear from their lives, but she thought it had been for the best but then her father pointed out, in his typical fashion, that losing friends wasn't living. It was just merely surviving; she ignored him of course but after a couple of months she conceded to it and while her father smiled sadly at her when she told him that, he just reassured her that if her friends were real friends they'd understand.

She hadn't contacted any of them when she came to England just a couple of days ago but she hoped they would be willing to talk with her. She knew that it had been her fault and she agreed to her faults and she would apologise however many times it took.

"You're welcome." She sipped her coffee, a small, soft smile on her lips. "My congratulation's then. Is it a boy or a girl? If you don't mind me asking that is." The smile on the woman's face was contagious and Roxanne was finding herself smiling along, a soft chuckle leaving her lips. Would she be acting like that when she was pregnant she wondered?

"Probably. It's hard to remember someone if you were in different houses after all." Though the moment Severine said her surname she instantly knew the girl. "It's nice to meet you, again." She grinned slyly. "I remember you now... We were in Potions together... Not to mention the spectacular break-up between you and Wilkes..." She had never liked the Slytherin boy, he always rubbed her the wrong way; at times she thought the Slytherin had been worse than Mathew. Which was saying something.

Being a Healer didn't mean that Severine had tons of money, in fact most of her money had been inherited through her family. While she was not currently over the Palace, she still got what she called a "sympathy allowance." Her parents had aged greatly and the accident that killed Alexande, Leoni and Elodie two summers ago. She hadn't heard from Isaline since then and the time before, she had shared the news about Finley which greatly disappointed her parents. The knowledge of Severine's own marriage to a Muggleborn and pregnancy was enough to just completely kill off her parents, it was a shocker that they were still alive with all the recent Charlot news.

Severine's millions had been enough for her and her husband to build a nice house out in the countryside. Their house was fit for a queen and Severine adored it. It was charmed so that it was hidden from plain view, in an effort to protect herself and her baby. It had several rooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen and a small Quidditch Pitch so her children could play Quidditch before Hogwarts. It was the house you could only dream of.

Rosalie's room was by far, Severine's favorite. It was painted a light blue aqua and adorned with silver accents that sparkled like the diamond on her finger. A white, round crib stood in the centre of the room and a pale pink valance hung in the window. There was a good sized dresser along one of the walls and her closet was full of all the clothes she'd ever need. Toys were packed into one of the corners and there was even a changing table opposite the room. The window had a balcony, complete with a small rocking chair so Severine could rock her inside or outside. Severine often sat in the room, staring the furniture, the walls while rubbing her tummy. She couldn't wait to see her daughter use the room but more importantly, she couldn't wait to meet the baby.

Time and time again, Severine's mind wander to the house, the room - it didn't matter where she was. She wished she could show people what she was thinking but unfortunately, she had never acquired that skill. She had to admit, it would have been useful, but not necessary and Severine knew it belonged to those in the Ministry who needed it.

Eventually, Severine brought herself back to the present, to Roxy. She was glad to see that she had not missed anything important, in fact it seemed like the girl also had a lot to think about. Maybe that was what happened when you got older. Your reminisced, you thought about the now, the future and very little of the past.

"It's a girl," the blonde replied, a small smile on her lips. "Thank you." It was nice to see that Roxy smiled too, Severine didn't want to seem too nice and kill her with kindness but she also did't want to seem like past Severine because she was far from snooty Pureblooded princess.

"I suppose you're right about that one," Severine replied with little thought. "It's nice to meet you again as well." There wasn't many people Severine had seen since Hogwarts and for that she was most gracious. "Ah, the memories of Balan," she let out a small chuckle, "and of course, everyone remembers that. I wish I could completely break away from that."
