Corbin paused, almost dramatically, before reading out the first pair: Naomi and Eli. "The rest of you can drink and mingle while our two chosen ones get comfortable. When it's time to announce the next pair, I'll call for you to gather again," he said.

To the pair, in a lower tone, he added, "Consent is the key word. If either of you so much as think of doing something the other doesn't agree to, there will be fudging hell to pay, am I clear?" His tone was void of any emotion, dark and dangerous; he was serious. "Should either attempt, the safe word is, simply, 'dolvina'. Commit it to memory -- dolvina." Pausing for a moment, he made sure to look both individual in the eyes before continuing. "This is for emergencies only, meaning you cannot -- and you will not -- use it simply because you don't enjoy the company of the other."

There was a low threat in his tone, indicating that nasty things would happen should the phrase be used otherwise, but what these were he didn't say. Instead, with a smirk, he motioned towards the door. "Enjoy," he said, waiting for them to enter before he started the timer.

OOC Things to note:

1) These pairings were genuinely made with a pairing generator online, with the only edited tweaks being when siblings or two characters of the same handler were paired, in which case names were randomly switched.

I'm sorry if you don't like your pairing.

2) As your characters won't know how long they have to spend in the room (it can be anywhere from 7 minutes to 15 minutes, and is completely random), Mads and I have decided that neither will you (surprise? heh).

As such, keep posting with each other and after the allocated time (we'll estimate from the writing), we'll post as Corbin or Lucy and 'open' the door, ending the thread.

IF you want to include a timeline at the bottom (for example, OOC: it's been one minute in this thread) feel free to, although try and remember that the time they could be locked together is between SEVEN and FIFTEEN minutes (so keeping the count after seven to one minute at a time would be helpful for us <3)

We hope you enjoy it and that your characters don't suffer -- too much -- from being forced into a small, tight space with random people. Having said that, we're not sorry, and neither are Corbin or Lucy. xD <3

The game that Corbin described sounded, well, rather boring if her were totally honest. But he rolled with it, listening to his explanation as he made himself a drink from the table. He didn't really know what he was doing while making drinks- he mainly just picked whatever looked interesting and poured it into a cup. People usually mixed drinks, right?

Giving it a swish around his cup, he sipped it. Immediately, his face contorted in disgust. The taste was bitter and fruity and potent- it was an anomaly really. And yet, he decided to finish it. Not doing so would be a waste, and Eli didn't like wasting things. It wasn't even the initial taste, more so the after taste. Never the less, he shrugged and drank some more while Corbin finished his explanation.

To his surprise, he was a part of the first pairing, him and some girl named Naomi, who he'd never spoken to, nor even recalled seeing around. But hey, he wasn't apt at paying much attention to his surroundings. He walked over to the door, again looking more like a baby deer (he really should have tried to get used to longer limbs beforehand), listening to Corbin's warning. The bloke was definitely serious, though Eli couldn't imagine ever being capable of doing something that Corbin had implied.

He flashed the witch a smile and held the door open for her "After you," he said.
