Corbin paused, almost dramatically, before reading out the next pair: Toryn and Lux. "The rest of you can drink and mingle while our two chosen ones get comfortable. When it's time to announce the next pair, I'll call for you to gather again," he said.

To the pair, in a lower tone, he added, "Consent is the key word. If either of you so much as think of doing something the other doesn't agree to, there will be fudging hell to pay, am I clear?" His tone was void of any emotion, dark and dangerous; he was serious. "Should either attempt, the safe word is, simply, 'dolvina'. Commit it to memory -- dolvina." Pausing for a moment, he made sure to look both individual in the eyes before continuing. "This is for emergencies only, meaning you cannot -- and you will not -- use it simply because you don't enjoy the company of the other."

There was a low threat in his tone, indicating that nasty things would happen should the phrase be used otherwise, but what these were he didn't say. Instead, with a smirk, he motioned towards the door. "Enjoy," he said, waiting for them to enter before he started the timer.

OOC Things to note:

1) These pairings were genuinely made with a pairing generator online, with the only edited tweaks being when siblings or two characters of the same handler were paired, in which case names were randomly switched.

I'm sorry if you don't like your pairing.

2) As your characters won't know how long they have to spend in the room (it can be anywhere from 7 minutes to 15 minutes, and is completely random), Mads and I have decided that neither will you (surprise? heh).

As such, keep posting with each other and after the allocated time (we'll estimate from the writing), we'll post as Corbin or Lucy and 'open' the door, ending the thread.

IF you want to include a timeline at the bottom (for example, OOC: it's been one minute in this thread) feel free to, although try and remember that the time they could be locked together is between SEVEN and FIFTEEN minutes (so keeping the count after seven to one minute at a time would be helpful for us <3)

We hope you enjoy it and that your characters don't suffer -- too much -- from being forced into a small, tight space with random people. Having said that, we're not sorry, and neither are Corbin or Lucy. xD <3

The party invite hadn't come as a surprise for Lux. In fact, she would've been surprised had she not received an invite. She was a well-known girl in the school, mostly for her intimidation and meanness. Sure, she had toned down a wee bit since her adoption, but that didn't mean she'd gone completely soft on the other students in the school. Where was the fun in that?

She knew both Corbin and Lucy. Indeed, she actually managed not to hate the former perhaps because he wasn't much like the other students. For one thing, he swore. That in itself put him in her favour. She hadn't yet had the chance to meet him, but she was sure he'd live up to his reputation.

After dressing up and doing her make up, she entered the room with the password. There, she mingled around a little, occasionally making a jab at some of the other people there and watching in satisfaction as they squirmed uncomfortably or gaped at her in terror.

The moment Corbin announced the game they would be playing, Lux rolled her eyes in annoyance. Really? That was such an immature game, suitable for prepubescent hormonal teens - which, in afterthought, Lux supposed they were. But as he explained this new version of the game, a smirk grew on her lips. This would be fun! She loved risks and this had all the makings of one. The only thing left was hoping she got a sporting enough partner, or maybe a spineless weasel she could control. Either would work thought the latter would definitely be more fun.

Corbin announced the paring and Lux frowned a little. She knew of Toryn but didn't know much about him, what he was like personality wise. Well, she would find out soon enough. She walked up to him and with a coy smile said, "Ready for some fun?"

Without waiting for his answer, she entered the room. Once the door was shut, she put her hand on the side of his neck, just where it met his shoulder and gave the subtlest squeeze. "Well? What would you like to do?"
