Sienna had been told to, on all accounts, stay away from Roxanne. She had been told that a Pureblood family was not worth going to, even if they were good contacts, because of her father's past. She had been told that it was too dangerous and not to so much as consider it, and so Sienna had, as she always did, obeyed, and pushed the idea out of her mind entirely, going through her years at Hogwarts without so much as talking to Roxanne except when absolutely necessary -- and even then, it was at a minimum.
That all changed with one simple letter. It was inconspicuous -- as most letters were -- asking her how she was settling down, sending her 'love', and telling her they missed her. Sienna had known something was up, though, because her parents neverwrote to her like that.
And then, in the last paragraph, was the reason they wrote. How are your friends? Roxanne, I believe you said her name was? They went on, after that, about some other people, but she'd gotten the message loud and clear -- she was to make friends with the once untouchable Pureblood.
So Sienna set aside all other tasks for the day -- homework was never as important as work -- and went out to find Roxanne. It wasn't too difficult, and it was only a half hour later that Sienna found her in one of the dance rooms.
The question now was how to approach the female. Winging it was never an option, and so, having already thought of almost everything she could say during the time spent searching, Sienna adjusted her posture to one of submission and, simultaneously, not one that showed she could be taken advantage of. Then, with a smile on her face, she knocked twice and opened the door, walking in with a familiar ease.
"Roxanne," she greeted, politeness lining her tone. "I believe we haven't had the honour of officially meeting."
