| Ladies and Gentlemen!
Input wanted from all!
Many of you may have noticed recently that the Nightshade group has been taken down -- for those of you that are new, and didn't know of the last plot, think something along the lines of Death Eaters -- which means we all have a new opportunity on the site!
We all have different ideas on the site, which is why it is good to find out what everyone would like to see coming to the site. Therefore, the floor is now open to everyone to put their ideas forward for what they want site plot, or mini plots to be.
So, without further preamble, what would you like to see on the site?
What events would you be interested in being provided to you?
Do you have any plot suggestions to bring forward for everyone to enjoy?
If you have thoughts on any of the above, please either reply here, or PM this account (or The Administrator) with them!
There is nothing too big, or too small, so please don't hold back!
And, of course, let's make the site rock everyone's socks off! ________________________________________________~ Auror ~ Profile ~ DADA Professor ~ ~ In a Relationship ~ 36 ~ Father ~ 6' ~ American Accent ~ | |

| Not sure what you've done in the past but smaller balls / parties will be good at the end of the years. So you could have a winter's ball in December, then an Easter one and then a summer one? I'm no good with big site plots |

| Edward has a great motivation to want to dismatle pureblood society... insanity could lead him to wanting to dismantle all of society to rebuild it. He could totally do this in villain-esque ways. |

| +1 to Ruby's idea; balls, parties, and the like are great for driving social interaction and character relationships of all types.
On a different note, I'd also be interested in seeing some sort of conflict develop on the site. While it is enjoyable to roleplay in a happy world devoid of—for the most part—any major problems I think conflict is important. Conflict drives drama, which drives development, which is something I, as a writer, strive for.
Now, you're probably thinking 'Gary, that's all well and good, but you didn't actually present a concrete idea.' Well, you're right my dear straw man and/or woman I didn't. In fact, let me amend that:
What if we had a magical war of sorts?
While plots that revolve around a single 'evil group' are interesting I think a war might be even more interesting. Wars add depth to a plotline as there is not normally a clear 'good' or 'bad' side—it's just people. Or, in the case of the wizarding world, it could be people, animals, and who knows what else.
I'll admit the idea is rather vague at the moment, but, in my totally unbiased opinion, it is worth giving some thought at the very least. |

| I like Gary's idea of some kind of war, or perhaps political conflict/controversy where characters would be forced to form opinions and take sides, with neither side being inherently good or bad. I would also enjoy the opportunity for real action sequences and fights.
Or perhaps something to do with civil rights? Like, maybe there's some sort of structural discrimination against muggleborns, and it kind of blows up, and maybe there are extremist groups on both sides that cause trouble/violence, which creates tensions between characters of different views. Or maybe that's too similar to real life current events XD.
I also like Ruby's idea of more school-wide social events. And Maddie has plenty of psychos that can cause trouble XD. |

| Expanding a little on Gary's idea as he got the cogs in my brain working a little - maybe something has happened (possibly as a result of old nightshade plot) that has brought the wizarding world to the attention of muggles - maybe an attack that went awry. Due to technology and social media nowadays the ministry were unable to contain the situation.
Due to this maybe the muggles are now hunting witches and wizards - like in the old days with the burnings. Most of the wizarding community are trying not to retaliate and such but its too dangerous for them to try and convince them we're good. The ministry have to keep a closer eye on muvfle born kids to try and keep them safe and in some situations the school has to lie to the parents to stop them handing the kids over to the government.
Of course there would be pockets of muggles who know that the wizards can be good and campaign to stop the burnings and such...
Just an idea maybe. |

| Expanding on Ruby's idea, while I don't think organized burnings would fly too well in modern society, we could definitely have a muggle led sort of crusade against magic-users. Certain groups would be more extreme than others, and might end up with KKK-esque violent anti-magic organizations. Secrecy suddenly becomes of the utmost importance. Relations between the muggle and magical governments fall apart when there's violence on the streets. Everyone has to tread more carefully, lest someone suspect and attack them for it. All the muggles are wary of magic-users (like the mutants from X-Men), and possibly do experiments to try and find a 'cure.' |

| Perhaps the conflict could come from foreign Ministries of Magic. Sparking a sort of Wizarding World War. This could certainly feed into muggles discovering them. It would be difficult to hide such a massive conflict. One slip and poof, The international statute of secrecy is dissolved. |

| To add to the chaos, it might not be out of character for a few people to want to avenge them, or even just chaos for the sake of chaos.
A war would be perfect for some opportunists to stir the pot even more. |
